hey I just saw this on the news and after that I ran outside to take a look.. the moon is 20% brighter today because the sun and earth and moon all are in a row or something like that at the moment.. so stars and the moon are about 20% brighter today.. its not fake I went outside and I thought it was brighter than usual

if the moon and sun were in line with the earth, wouldn't that be an eclipse?

no its the other way around I think the earth is between the moon and the sun

i think an eclipse is then moon lines up with the sun? I dunno

It's only an eclipse if the Sun, Moon and Earth are perfectly lined up and the Moon will go red if it is an eclipse of the moon.
