Søren is the Scandinavian form of Severino, which again is the Italian, Spanish and Portuguese form of the Roman family name Severinus, which was derived from Severus. Severinus was the name of many early saints, including a 6th-century Roman philosopher martyred by the Ostrogothic king Theodoric. It was also borne a pope.

My name means "powerful ruler."
My middle names Ryan and Andrew mean "little king," and "manly."
And my last name means "wild man."

There ya go.

JESSICA f English
This name was first used in this form by Shakespeare in his play 'The Merchant of Venice', where it belongs to the daughter of Shylock. Shakespeare probably based it on the biblical name Iscah meaning "YAHWEH beholds" (Hebrew), a minor character in Genesis. Jessica is sometimes given as a feminine form of JESSE.
