| That's cool. My sister's boyfriend, whom she met when we lived in Japan around 5 years ago (still together), he's from I think it's Iloilo, or something of that nature. |

| Ah.. Iloilo! It's a province located in Western Visayas.
I'm seeing a lot of "Filipino connections" lately.

| Heh I don't know...when I lived in Japan, I felt left out. We were on a U.S. military base, yet most everyone was either mixed with Japanese, or Filipino. I learned so much there, and I learned a little Tagalog there, of course I forgot it now, thanks to the spanish I took. At least I learned what a "Pinoy/Pinay" was, or I'd be lost! |

| Oh, that's great! Well, Tagalog has lots of Spanish words in it, actually, so it wouldn't be that hard to remember.

| Yeah but when you're basing the "learning" assumption on people teaching you, rather than being properly taught, then well, it's a little bit more difficult to remember.

| May I ask you to explain this "learning" assumption...?

| Well, as I stated above, I had learned a little tagalog, but it wasn't from a class, it was just from friends I had there, and they usually did nothing but speak to each other, and I was confused cause all I knew was English and Spanish lol. So they taught me a little of it...I just forgot it. It would have been easier to remember had I taken a class. I just don't catch on to thigns so quickly unless it's given in a class form |

| Ah, I see... Yes, I also feel that learning something as complex as a different laguage is best learned in a class. Humor me: Do you remember any Tagalog words?
