| Canada + US = North
Mexico = Central
Brazil and friends = South
On a social scale:
Canada + US = North America
Mexico + Brazil and friends = Latin America
We have Canadians, US Citizens, Mexicans, and so on. My guess would be that the term "US Citizens" is a little less easy, so they verbally made it "Americans" in order to simplify. But I'm not sure about that one though.
And most add Mexico to the North, yes. But I don't find that logical since it's not in the North, heh. |

Well some I know the English versions of, but not all. Quote: Originally posted by DizZzy! Hmm.. that's not what they tought me in school. But you might be right. My knowledge is from years and years back anyway. Perhaps it changed like in Russia/USSR/Soviet Union and in Yougoslavia (or however they spell it ). |

| What - you mean there's other countries over there other than the US?
Heh, anyway I would have thought Mexico would be classified as 'north' as well since it's north of the small strip of land joining north and south america. |
