You do everything EXACTLY the same. For the first 2 weeks or so it's kinda rough to get used to. But now, people don't even realize i have it done because it's not noticeable, and I don't even realize i have it done, because you get so used to it it becomes part of you. You don't even realize it's there... You don't "taste" the barbell or anything...
And, i, too am quite afraid of needles. But piercings, like tat's, are addicting. And they really don't hurt as bad as you think they do. You feel it for a TEENY TINY second, and honestly, the clamps holding your skin hurts TONS more.
And to PN's question about a next piercing, the industrial is pretty hot. My boyfriend has one in each ear. I'd suggest the other one he has... But he's one of the few to actually HAVE that piercing done, and i don't remember what it's called off hand... I'll have to check that out for ya. It's a painful one, tho.
