That song was very reminiscent to the movie.

That's bad strategy. Not only will you be working under the pressure of a time limit, but when you're doing homework, you'll always end up dealing with unforeseen problems that can get you into trouble fast. Use a time buffer, and your homework doesn't have to be neglected due to lack of time. When you do that, you will have some time to overlook what you made and check for errors that need restoration. Because on the spur of the moment, you're bound to make mistakes, which by overlooking what you made, you will then be able to restore.

Hope that helps in more ways than one.

Tell me something. What in the blue hell is a lynchpin?

Ah, yes. Subtle yet effective. But, Stinger, I believe this one is incorrect. Not grammatically, though.. Just a word usage problem.

I believe it's better stated as "...check for errors that need correcting" because errors aren't restored; they're corrected.

Anyway...

1. Britney Spears' acheivement of having both a single and album at number one simultaneously is an unprecedented event.

2. The basin was full of water.

3. The painting was badly damaged. It's restoration will cost millions of dollars.

4. Water is revitalising.

5. Why don't you engage in recreational activities like Twister?

What, lad, is a lynchpin?

Yeah, I was already hesitating whether or not that was in the wrong context... I hear people say "correcting errors" and I hear people say "restoring errors". I love to play with words though. Wouldn't it grammatically be better if I said "that need restoring"? Though in a different context: "a building that needs restoration" would be correct I believe... Blah, I need to brush up on a few things I see. I'm having doubts!! *smacks own head*

Yes, you're right. The word fits in well in that one.

Don't worry, Stinger. These things happen to people. There was a time that I was convinced that the correct past tense form of "pay" was "payed".

Haha. Or where I definitely thought that 'definately' was right... or 'afraid' was with a double 'f', or 'as well' was one word... and where I wasn't sure whether it was 'existence' or 'existance' ...

By memorizing them, I don't forget...

I had a tutor who made me spell every new word she taught me 10 times! It's a good memorization technique, though (aside from using the words regularly). That's one piece of advice I can give our troubled threadstarter.
