I've always loved coffee, but recently it's become the main ingredient in my diet. I skip meals and just have tremendous amounts of coffee.

Like many, my favorite coffee is Starbucks. ANY Starbucks. Frappuccinos, Lattes, Iced or Hot... it doesn't matter. But i can't afford it so i've started mixing up my own concoctions at home.

My latest recipe is this:
Crush 5 or 6 ice cubes (in blender). Add to crushed ice, 1 cup of milk, or a little less (i use skim milk, but most like 1 or 2 percent because it's creamier). Blend. Add in hot coffee. I use Starbucks espresso brewed coffee. Blend again. The hot coffee will melt some of the ice. I like to add in cappuccino powder mix, about 2 tablespoons. Then, for a nice touch, some caramel cream. Blend all together. If you like it slushier, add and blend in more ice. For a smooth, iced coffee-ish thing, don't add any more ice.

Mmmmm, it's soooo good. Does anyone else like to mix up their own drinks at home (coffee drinks, not alcohol, lol)?

Me and my sister always end up in the kitchen at 3 am makin' milkshakes...we discovered that if you don't have ice cream, just grab some fudgecicles and take the stick out they work just the same.

ANYWHO! back on the coffee topic:

I usually just have Starbucks coffee, no fancy blending involved...just the coffee....OR I have the Nescafe Frothe stuff in any flavor (Enchanting Vanilla, Divinely Mocha, etc.) and put a lil whip cream on top and mmmm its good, it doesnt taste as coffee-ish as i think they're supposed too (stupid nescafe) but still its VERY good.

I'm gonna have to try that thang Kim *writes it down* I have a cappuccino machine...I just haven't gotten around to using it yet.
