..... shut down your dreams?

Its like this, I said I didnt wanna continue high school, and go follow my dreams, and my mother sed no. Its like okay?! dude its my life, school sucks im tired of being ordinary. And they always do that, saying you suck, or they will just laugh.

Its like geeze, cant you just support me?

If you could only have a mother like brit's who atleast believes in you no matter what.

Does your parents do the same?

In a way yes.But my mom is different.SHe tells me I need to go to school and graduate and then tells me I need to still write and sing and go for it because I have worked so hard for it.SHe confuses me all the damn time.LOL,One minute she tells me something then goes and contradicts what she just said.Its petty funny actually.

Um nope. I have a kick-ass mom. Sometimes I feel like I don't deserve her. She's been so good to me.

Ok, a high school education is important, no matter what you do. But yes, my father shut down three (count em... 1, 2, 3) dreams of mine. I'm pursuing something I know I will be good at, but it's not a passion by any means.

Just because she's not going to let you drop out of high school doesn't mean she wouldn't support you. Every parent is different, with no different method being wrong or right. Your mother is doing what she feels is right. Without a high school diploma, many jobs are lost to you. Pursue it when you are done there.

Well, actually your Mum isn't really shutting down your dreams there - if you don't finish high school you'll end up regretting it later on, believe me there's plenty of time to do anything you want after you finish.

Back to the original question... yeah I've had times when my parents have told me I'm no good at something... usually just makes me more determined to do it though.

But still, you gotta finish school!

I wanna be singer/actress one of those two.

Thay tell me I can sing, but don't gave a voice.
They say Im really good at acting too.

But they won't help out for making it go furthur, they say I'll never get there. And its just a silly dream. I keep telling them its not. There just afraid are privacy will be thrown away which is true, they just dont want to be a part of it.

My parents always tell me that I will never reach my dream but do you think I listen to them? Heck no! They can kiss my butt for all I care cuz it's my life I live it, not them!
