Harddrives gone bad - Eternal Allegiance

Has your hard drive just like die for no apparent reason and you lose Every freaking thing on it. Include 100s and 100s of Britney pictures, you favorite blends, and hundreds of mp3s not to mention Britney videos that took days to download?
Well yesterday my harddrive gave, and I tried save what I could but I lost the dear beloved Diarys and rare performances not to mention the mp3s. All in time, but now I can get XP, finally and download Britney stuff to my hearts content.
Tell me about your harddrive expriences and that wonder BSD!

I lost mine about a little year ago ... but it only had 'cracks', the bad thing was that it was wasted and I needed a new one, the good thing was that I still could save all I needed on cd's before getting rid of it and putting in a new one

Oh god!!

It happened to me a while back i had a laptop and ppl keep telling me to backup data and i never did..and then it happened one day it die...i was soo mad....

Ever since then i back up frequently...i burn pictures , mp3s, movies and so forth...

I have never had a bad harddrive*knocks on wood*, but i have lost data other ways. I have two harddrives and i stupidly let my dad format the Windows drive, well he messed up and fdisked and formatted the downloads drive. I was so upset because i had pictures and stuff on it that i couldnt get back. More recently, my motherboard died. So, all the downloads i had on the Windows drive were lost. I tried slaving the drive on the other computer and it wouldn't work so i was forced to erase the disk. At least i didnt lose my 8 gig mp3 collection though.

i remember back in 2000 i had my 10GB hard drive ful of rare i MEAN RARE LIKE :S RARE stuff and then i woke up from a nap and was checkin my concert download of the ..baby one more time tour and the computer was dead and when it never turned on and i had to end up losing everything. i had so many old mp3s and remixes that nobody had even heard of and all of it is gone forever. it even had the first britney mp3 that was ever released on the internet :S too bad so sad
