Dude, you need to learn respect. When you live in someone's house that ISN'T yours, I wouldn't talk about how you're old enough to do whatever, cause you're still living at home with your parents. You don't pay for anything but things you want. And go ahead. I dare you to sue your parents. I want to see you on the People's Court losing because in no way under any law will a judge rule in your favor. However, if you grow up, move out, start paying your bills, and then if your parents come over and take away your XBox, sue. But until then, you've got nothing dude but complaints about something you take for granted. | I can sue them, because i have the power to. Also, it's my property. I paid for it. If they take it, I can sue them for theft.
As for taking things for granted.........hell yeah. If they take me for granted and screw me......then I'll do the same. You get what you give. I don't care if you are my family, or the president of the USA. If I have to, I will take action. |

If your parents are so bad, Jerod, then go live on your own. That's not so hard, is it? Get your own home, heh. |

| If you moved out of your parents house then you wouldn't have these 'problems' anymore and you'd have the freedom to do whatever you wanted! If you live as a guest (being over 18) then you should be more grateful for what you have, instead of acting like a child. You obviously can't live by your parent's rules so do yourself a favour, find a cool place to live and start living your life as an adult!! Damn, i have to wait eight months til i can move out and i'm relishing the thought of independence!! |

I used to not be able to stand my parents and although I have this dislike for my father, they are the still the best people you'll ever meet, and now that Im out of the house, I finally see what I had when I was there...you find out real quick when you move out.
And Jerod..Go ahead and sue your parents, you'll learn what I mean, cause you won't get far at all. |

| Well all these things have been said and done. There is no need to discuss it anymore. Everything is fine and I don't need to dwell on it anymore in a discussion board. |

That proof is what you call a receipt. By legal law I am old enough to sue them if I want to, even if I live in their house. I am a legal adult. I can do whatever I wish. | ... yet another of those 'can only happen in USA' things. |
