Default Getting a learner's...

Any drivers in here? Well, I took my test to try and get my learner's today. I failed it. Heh. I took the test in 6:00. 23 questions. Not even a minute on each question. 15 questions on general knowledge and 10 on the traffic signs. I got all the signs right (you're not allowed to get them wrong anyhow), and the general knowledge questions were hard. I don't know much about being behind the wheel, that's why. Eh, better luck next time right?

The main reason for this thread: Anybody else failed theirs before?

what the hell is a Y-turn for that matter?

I got my learners on the first turn - similar to yours Errick - it took me three goes to get my license - I'll admit it - I'm an absolutely shocking, shocking driver... Let's just say Brisbane drivers are lucky I take the bus.

lol it's weird, instead of just doing a u turn... you go from one side of the rode, turn so you're ass is sticking out in the middle of the lane, back up into the next lane going at angle, then go forward in teh shape of a y! i hate those damn things!

Ohhhh you mean a three-point turn? Countries never have the same name for these things...

three-point turns? psh. i am the master of the 10-point turn. (i own an SUV and it's hecka hard to maneuver, hehe.)

when i went to take my learner's permit test, i studied all the way to the DMV. i ended up missing 9; the cut-off was 7. i went back a week later and wasn't even sure that they would let me take the test so soon...they won't let you come back for another week, and i didn't know if that meant i needed to come back in a week or a week in one day, but anyways...so i went back a week later and didn't even study on my way there. and it turns out i COULD take the test, so i did, and only missed 2 that time. and then i passed my driving exam on the first go, yay!

but anyway, no worries. you'll do better next time.

Not to rub it in, but I passed my permit test and my license tests on the first tries.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has failed their test, before. I rushed through it, I think. And that is why I didn't do so well. Anyway, I'll wait for the 27th to come to get my learner's then.
