Pop-up blockers are pretty nifty, though many gays will begin to call us racists if we attempt to install one against them, heh. So instead I say to them that I don't care about their sexual preferences and neither should they if they want to be treated as equals. |

Anyway, my take on this whole thing is that... this is a POST YOUR PIC thread. I've noticed that some people here (including myself) are becoming hesistant of posting pictures because there's always gotta be someone who has something to say. Maybe people should just leave other people alone and let them post their god damn picture. Just my $0.02 <3

I mean, for years society has pretty much cornered gays into little closets, and now the world is finally starting to back off a bit. So shouldn't that be celebrated? Shouldn't gays be allowed to flaunt their sexuality a bit after spending huge chunks of their lives in a closet watching as heterosexuals shoved their sexuality down their throats? Shouldn't we be allowed to enjoy that freedom?
Along the lines of John's reference to Americana pride, America constantly celebrates their freedom because people have died fighting for that freedom. It's the same thing with homosexuality, is it not? People have died in the fight for homosexuality's freedom.
Or have we just been fed lies? Are we really not allowed to express that freedom? Are we allowed out of our closets under the circumstances that we must still act like straight people?
Maybe people are getting ahead of themselves. Maybe the world just isn't as advanced as some people like to think it is/would like it to be. |

American society sucks. In my country, we tend to not care about who others are sleeping with. We don't criticise them, we don't keep them from marrying, etc. But you have those who still want to make it a point to tell everybody that they are gay and that we need to take notice. I don't talk about girls 24/7 either. There is more to life than dating.
Abnormal gay people in my country are gays who seperate themselves from the rest of society by acting like they are people who just came from Mars and that we have to stand in a big circle around them to watch them do their thing. Quote: |

Fact is, they can safely do that in their own country, cause there isn't anybody living there who would be so much against it that they would grab a gun and chase them away (with the exception of infiltrated terrorists and the like). Maybe people are getting ahead of themselves. Maybe the world just isn't as advanced as some people like to think it is/would like it to be. | Sounds logical, but it's a contradiction to the reason you want to be accepted. You want to be treated as equals, so when you're finally accepted, parading around like you're from Mars isn't exactly going to give you any respect. If anything you're putting yourselves right back into those boxes with labels taped to them. You may have gotten your right to marry, but society still won't accept you, and look away when you walk by.
Which of course, isn't fair especially to those gays who hate to be put on display like that. Most gays just want to be able to live their quiet life without their sexual preference being the center of attention all the time. Not by straight people, and not by other gays either. And in my country they can. And so as a result, most normal gays do not like abnormal gays and neither do I, heh. Also most normal gays have partners and abnormal gays don't. Food for thought. |
