Heh.. FFIX's ending owned though, I'm sorry.. but absolutely nothing compares to the swerve in that ending, because you really never saw it coming. FFX's ending was.. to say the least, a confusing mix of "should I laugh or cry?"

My proficiency in American slang leaves much to be desired.. So I ask: What does "owned" in slang mean? (Another prime example of my stupidity)

It basically means that it killed the other one. When I say that FFIX owns FFX.. it means that FFIX makes FFX look like complete shit.

Yes, that's true. FFX's ending wasn't what you'd call an "ending". The extended ending in the International Version of FFX would leave you even more confused. (Notice that I took a hint this time )

They even had to make two spinoff "sequels" to the game just to cover their tracks. It's kinda low if you ask me.
