| The Fake LiveStrongs. | | DAMN!!!!!.... I saw them on eBay, I pissed me off.., they are taking avantage of the Original LiveStrong bands, and they are making pink, blue, green, red........bands with diferent legends on them
They think the bands are just a fashion item and the cancer fight is just the side feature.....
Im pissed :

| It ruins the whole purpose. Its really sad . I am a proud owner of a real one, though. . I do hate when people are like "omg those are so ugly why do you wear them?" They arent a fashion item! Uhgh. They are supose to show that you support cancer. One of my best friends mom had breast cancer, so I also have a "courage" one for breast cancer, and a "share hope, spread beauty." I think the bands are great; but when used properly. |

| I've said this before but it really bothers me. I'm all for the Livestrong bracelets, it's a great cause. But when you're buying it off of eBay, the money isn't GOING toward the charity. It's going to someone else's pocket. And buying it off eBay to me means you're so desperate to be in the trend that you have to have one, no matter where you get it from.
It really is annoying. But Nike has the "baller" bracelets that also benefit charity. And now I think there's a pink one for breast cancer. The idea is a good one, but I just hate that it's getting lost in translation. |

I wouldn't call the Baller bands "fakes," but copies -- but it doesn't matter, because if you buy them from a Nike retailer, they're going to charity. I'm totally against buying Livestrong or anything of the sort off of eBay, unless you get them for exactly $1, which is how much they're meant to be sold for. |

Yeah I don't see the big deal. If it goes to benefit a cause, that's great. And if the other causes are different colors, even better. I just don't like the eBay thing like I said.
I want a baller bracelet
Oh and they have these AIDS ones endorsed by Hilary and Haylie...

| Here in Mexico, people see them as fashionable, they just want them because they think they are "in"....., and they are also selling the pink one, what's more, they are selling the original LiveStrong as buisness...and charity goes far away..............Its sad.

| It sucks when people see these bracelets and are like "OMG I want one cause its like so fashionable" and they don't realize the meaning attached behind them, they are so desperate to buy one that they get one of EBay or the street just to be part of a trend. Its sad really. |
