Make sure you write your own essays in your own words. Essays that look alike will not recieve credit. DO NOT COPY word for word. List your sources and identify the refrences used. Assme your reader knows very little information about the topic so provide background information.

ESSAY ONE: The Phoenicians
Describe the geographic and enviromental factors (such as abundance or lack of natural resources) played a role in shaping of the civilization. Identify two major accomplishments of the civilization.

ESSAY TWO: The Hebrews
Contrast the Hebrew belief in monotheism with the religious belief of either the Persians, Egyptians, or one of the empires in Mesopotamia.

Yeah, teachers are. They're out to take over the world secretly by keeping us occupied with things we would never need to survive in the real world while they come up with a master plan in thier so called "faculty meetings". It's all a conspiracy.

I used to hate writing essays, Used to take me ages to write them and I used to have damn small writing so I would have to write more just to fill the pages!

This'll sound weird but... I love writing essays! Sometimes I get carried away so it fills up two pages. What I hate are theme papers, though (Is that what they're called?). You're forced to think on one line of thought only and you run out of ideas quicker.

Essays like that are a piece of cake. Trying doing massive research papers which have to be like 20 pages minimum, use more than 10 sources which CAN'T be from the internet, AND give a 20 minute Power Point presentation on it.

Essays suck when you have to finish them quickly...in my Composition class, we have to write a total of 4 essays within the semester, 5-7 pages. The class only meets once a week, so by the time our fourth drafts are due, our first draft of our next paper is due too. That kinda sucks, but essays aren't too bad. Then again, I like writing...if I know where I'm going with it.

But yeah those essays ARE cake. Psh, try writing a term paper or something.

Essays aren't bad if they're about the right topic. If you have to write about a book you hated then writing the essay sucks. But if it's about something you enjoy or are interested in, it can actually be fun. (?)

Recently we had to do a character sketch. You right an essay about a certain kind of person. Kind of like a stereo-type. I picked the 80's Freak so I put the things I learned from "I Love the 80's: Strikes Back" to use.
