My dad and I have a PHENOMENAL connection. I love him to pieces. He's absolutely wonderful. Must be the coolest dad out there.

I've got a lot of things in common with him. I love to build things (he's sooo creative) and I'm actually fairly good at it.

We both love computers

and like the same movies (Hey, how many people can say that their dad knows every other word of Aladdin or of the Garfield Christmas special?

). We love skiing and walking and we are both also very quite. We like to keep to ourselves and damn we are also veeeeeery stubborn.

We love math and soooo much more. The thing that I love most about him is not just his infinite kindness and supportiveness, but his brilliance. This person in my eyes is BRILLIANT (much like my mom). And if I only had 1/100th of his knowledge I'd be the happiest person.

I've got the utmost respect for him and of course for my mom.

So, yes Errick, I've got a GREEEEEEAT connection with my dad.

I dont know my dad. Only my mom. My dad left before I was born and I personally dont want too meet him...

Well,I'm more close with my mom than my dad... but whenever my dad and I talked we always end up laughing and talking nonsense...basically I cannot tell my dad anything outrageous about my life cause I'm ashamed of him eversince I was young and I have great deal of respect of him...

Good to hear. I don't really have a ocnnection with my dad. I was only wondering to see if anyone else doesn't or does. I'm just beginning to see that it's not just me. And being a boy just might be the reason. Even though my dad loves my older brother to death. He doesn't care what he does, or who he goes out with (not relationship wise but friend wise). Potheads...Weirdos...He doesn't care. My parents are just too hard on me, I guess.

me and dad get along awesome. we dont talk about stuff that is personal i dont like talking about personal stuff with anyone. When me and my dad talk its mostly about hunting, fishing, hockey, or fantasy football.

me and my dad get along well enough.

we have the exact same sense of humor, we're both intelligent enough to do well in life, but we can both let loose at the drop of a dime.

we love making jokes and picking on people together, like my sister. she always gets mortified by my dad, cuz he embaresses her, but I just take his acts in stride, we're cool together.

like if my dad is listening to the radio in the car, and I'm in the front with him, and my sister's in the back, my dad'll be dancing wildly in his chair, and i'll join in. hah,, great fun.
