Hello, and welcome.
You see, I am very afraid of the dark, and I tend to dive/jump into my bed at night. I would like to share a story with you, about a few times I've missed my bed.
A few years ago, at the ripe young age of 12, I thought that there was a spider family living under my bed. Naturally, I cried as I am also pretrified of spiders. *drinks some water and wipes forehead*. That night I went to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night from a monstrosity of a nightmare. Quite frightening. If I hadn't already passed the bed wetting phase, I'm sure I would have been floating.
I got up (carefullly) and jumped off my bed to go get a drink. I came back... *hears music*. My bed, at the time, was only a few feet from the door way, so I took the chance of diving back into bed. So, I made a daring leap. Whilst in mid-air, I thought I could see my side table rushing towards me! I shielded my face and prepared for impact. I hit the table instead of my bed. I was lying on the floor as still as possible hoping not to draw the attention of the spiders to myself. I was sure the spider family was going to come get me and make me live with them like Mowgli and the big cat family in "The Jungle Book". BUT! I braved the darkness, got up, and hid under my blankies.
Many people say "You cannot hide under your blankets" or "Hiding under your blankets won't make them go away". BUT THEY ARE WRONG!! OoOoOoOoOoOH SO WRONG!! I curled up under my blankets and slept a wonderful sleep!
Why am I telling you this story of courage, bravery and fear?
Because, sadly, I missed my bed again last night.
But last night it was different. Much different. This time, not only did I have the fear of spiders creeping about in my mini mangled mind, but I had the fear of spilling my juice from off of my table also. Yes, yes it's true.. I almost spilled the holy juice. A mixture of cran-rasberry juice and water. "Almost" being the key word here. Thankfully, I did not spill it!
I HAVE ONCE AGAIN BRAVED MY FEARS!!
MUCH LIKE MY HERO
HARRY POTTER BRAVING VOLDEMORT TIME AND TIME AGAIN!
This is for
you Harry!!
