I've never even heard of people doing stuff like that, or even imagined it. That guy just...I don't even have the words. And I love horses.
Can they not charge him with attempt to do the thing? I mean , if a robber is caught in someones house, do they not charge him with attempt to rob (or something of the sort) in your country? Or does he have to actually ROB the house?
I would think, I mean the guy HAD the tools there, he was naked, its quite obvious what he was going to do, and who knows if he hadn't even done something yet.
I think your country needs to pass some more laws regarding this sort of thing, so that people cannot just walk free, cause its a damn shame. Of course thats everywhere.
Here, convicted child molesters walk after only a few years, (same problem as your country, overcrowded prisons) their identities are protected . They (the child molesters) are mad because in some states the neighbor hood is notified that a child molester is moving in. They say its against their constitutional right. IMO, they should have no rights, and should be sent to some island. All of them. |

Shit like that makes me want to grab a lead pipe and bust the prick's head in. Quote: Originally posted by RaInBoW_bRiTe Can they not charge him with attempt to do the thing? IF a robber, would get his ass into my house, and I'd hear him and nail him, he can charge me for assault and I'll be the one going to jail. Seriously.
It's fucked up. I don't give a damn though, I'll bust them up so bad, they won't remember shit of what happened if I have to. But I'm not gonna stand there and watch the dude rob my house. That's insane. Quote: Originally posted by RaInBoW_bRiTe I would think, I mean the guy HAD the tools there, he was naked, its quite obvious what he was going to do, and who knows if he hadn't even done something yet. | He probably already had some fun with the animal, heh.
People from all over the country are rising up against this, nobody agrees that they let him go. I can see a second downfall of our government nearing. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, we seriously got a bunch of idiots running our country. A 12 year old kid could do better. Quote: Originally posted by RaInBoW_bRiTe I think your country needs to pass some more laws regarding this sort of thing, so that people cannot just walk free, cause its a damn shame. It has it's good sides, but it sure as hell got its bad sides present all too well. They shouldn't have shit to say anymore. They violated people! I revoke people's rights as a member for breaking a stupid rule on this board for crying out loud. That is justice, they asked for it! They got nothing to say when they fuck things up for themselves. If they wanna be legal people in a community then they shouldn't try so hard to screw up that community. I find this no more than logical. They can get mad all they want, I'll spit 'em in the face. heh. |

I could see a robber coming into my house and me saying "Oh Please take my Tv. Here let me unplug my computer to give it to you. Oh you missed some of my jewelry..." Yea right . Get real! I'm going to try to take the guy out, or at least get him unconsious, so I can call the police. And I would expect most anyone in their right mind to do the same. A 12 year old kid could do better. | Heh, well don't feel too badly, the leader(s) in our country right now are not, in my opinion, very good in their position.
Hopefully it will change come November.
I hope that your goverment doesn't have a downfall, but that they seriously reconsider some of their laws, and their punishment system. This could be a turning point, who knows. Quote: | I agree. I wish they would. Our country is one of the most tolerant countries in the world. It has it's good sides, but it sure as hell got its bad sides present all too well. | I know that child experts say that a too leniant environment is not good to raise a child in, just as a too strict environment is not either. In the too leniant the child is more likely to do things just because they have no boundiries, they know no difference between right and wrong, as they haven't been taught. In a too strict environment a child is more likely to do the things he is taught against, out of defiance. I think that applies in a countries law systems also. A good middle is where you want to go to. If only it were that simple. Hah. Quote: | I agree. Anyone who breaks the law, loses their rights as a civilian, in my opinion. | I think here you lose your right to vote. Whopee, because our votes count so much anyways. There are instances of murders and child molesters getting their day care lisence for God's sake! Does noone do background checks anymore??? |

| ..Apparently not....Do you know what ABOLISHED means? That means something along the lines of disappearing. So what I mean by saying until the good behavior crap gets ABOLISHED, which makes people go free when they shouldn't be set free, I'm all for the death penalty. |

| The reason I made this thread in the first place is also because I have some - should I say - inside information. My best friend's uncle is on death row - he is black and he is innocent. The police have no clue what they're doing because everything point in a different direction than him. But the judge who have is case is a white man who have several times declared that, yes he is a racist.. Is that fair?!?! He have been ondeath row for more than 19 years and he is innocent everyone knows it.. but he wont be released!
You can never be 100 % sure that the person you have is really the person you want.
Killing someone to prove that killing is wrong - I mean listen to it... we say to a man... Killing is wrong - the worst thing you can do - there for... we will now kill you?!?!? You feel me??? It makes no sence...
Have ya'll ever seen a person die?? Like that - seen someone take his or her last breath in the chair or while he got something to put him/her to sleep?? It's awefull....
Many people have no idea how it happens - how cruel it is...
Did you know that one man he was going to be put to sleep, but they couldn't find the right place in his arm... in the end he had holes everywhere in his body and he lost so much blood - while he was a sleep (not dead) without telling him anything - they took him back to his cell - he woke up... and then they took him back in and did it all over again... no matter what you have done - that is not fair!
Another guy was on death row for more than 17 years - they found out he was not guilty and then they released him and gave him $100 ... I mean that is just making fun of people! |

First of all, the judge being white doesn't mean anything at all. It's the Jury who convicts him, and decides what to do, and the judge just said "You have been found guilty." So, therefore, the judge being white and him being black doesn't mean anything. His lawyer may not have done a good job, but of course the jury could have been racist. However, I strongly doubt that. |

| someone told me once they believed you should receive the same treatment of what crime you did. So for example if you were a rapist, you'd be raped etc etc. pretty extreme view, because then basically the person who gave you your punishment would also become a rapist. Hmmm.
But haven't any of you seen Green Mile. The dealth penalty is evil!! yes, dying gets rid of them, prison costs money. But you should keep them in a pretty shitty prison, so you had a really crap time in there, rather then the recent storyline of getting a ps2 in your room for good behaviour. A lot of good people dont get a ps2!!! |

As for that "get what you did" thing, would that mean that a child rapist gets to be raped by a child? Or someone caught picking up a hooker is forced to be a hooker?
Personally, though, I'm quite a fan of that whole Double Jeopardy law. Because if you did the time, you damn well better have done the crime. If not, you better damn well do the crime. |
