Today I was trying to open sites up, and any site that had a window that popped up (like a link from the boards) it wouldn't open! The window would pop up but it would be blank, just a white screen. I thought it was my pop-up stopper but i disabled it and it's still doing it!

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Hmmm yeah those windows suck - it's basically a nasty pop-up and nothing wrong with your computer, don't worry.

Try pressing ALT-F4 to close the window when it pops up.

or try Ctrl+Alt+Delete.....a screen should come up and close off which thing u dont want.

he's not talking about popups. He's talking about links that open in new windows. Example, when you click a link from these forums, they open in a new window which pops up. And he can't view what should be in the window.

If you can, copy the url, *right click > Copy Shortcut* and paste it into the address bar.

Thats the only way I know to help that. hope that helps.

Other than that, I dont know whats wrong.

After about an hour of looking on Microsofts horrible web site i finally found out what to do! You had to edit the registry and all this other stuff, but it worked!
