I think the English ways of spelling are more traditional and more stylish. But languages change over time.

Here, I tend to spell it both ways. For the sake of variation, I guess. However, I do keep myself to one style per post.

Then on AIM I mostly use the short version for obvious reasons. For letters to apply for jobs outside the country, I use the English style, etc.

No I'm not. I just feel that some words can be distorted by some people. Meaning that you change how they are spelt and how they are said. That is all. It annoys me sometimes.
