I went 2 weeks ago to visit Notre Dame and Washington University in St. Louis. They were both really nice. I'm going into my senior year in high school too. I either want to go into business or engineering, but I really have no idea what I want to do. I don't want to decide!!!

I have a friend who got a full ride to Wash U. His mom works there. And he's a freakin genius. So even if his mom didn't work there, he could probably get a decent scholarship.

I looked mostly at state schools because of their price. I was thinking about Iowa State, Northern Iowa, Western Illinois, and then Arizona State. I can get in-state to Western Illinois even though I live in Iowa since I'm only like, 3 miles from the border. But Arizona state is high out of state tuition. I was also looking at Bradley University around Peoria, Illinois. Cool school.

However, I decided to go to a community college for 2 years and then transfer and I'm really glad I did. I saved SOOOO much money and now I will have all of my gen. eds out of the way I'm going to be transfering to Northern Iowa next fall.

That was my second choice. I never ended up applying there since I got accepted at MU.
