| HMMMMM my first day of classes? It was so weird. I woke up and went to class, of course, feeling nervous. It was just a weird feeling. I didn't know anyone and my first class ended up not being one I made a lot of friends in. But I remember thinking, "WOW I'm so independent and mature now." I wasn't really, but I had this accomplished feeling. My first day went good, as well as my first week. It took a little adjusting, but anything like that does. So yeah, a little scary, but pretty damn cool. All of my teachers were comforting and that was good. Just stick in there, at first it can be weird, but it's worth it. |

| I think that's exactly how I'm going to feel. College seems to cost so much money though. Blah. What were your favorite classes? Least favorite? How about the guys? Are they hot? =x |

| Oh Looooooooooord. Girl I'm (well, my mom is ) gonna be paying back money for YEARS. I dunno how the hell she's gonna do it. I love her so much for letting me come here and although it's f-ing EXPENSIVE, she knew how much it meant to me. That's a good mom, man. I figure that if it's gonna be helpful to my future, it's worth the investment. Hopefully it actually is.
Let's seeeee. My favorite classes have been my Intro to Marketing the Arts class, my Fashion Business class (for a brief moment, I thought I wanted to do that over music business - I definitely don't, but the class was the SHIT), basically the classes for my major minus Intro to Management
My least favorite was probably my computer class...at times it was above my head (which shocked the hell out of me) and other times it was entirely too easy. Ugh it was just a waste. It could've been worse though. Math sucked but we only need one math class here so I'm done. Gen ed's just suck in general. I LOVED Psychology a lot though. Thus far I haven't had one class I've been like, "I DON'T WANT TO GO I HATE IT SO MUCH." But next semester I have Accounting so I'll get back to you

| Most schools are only a couple, so hopefully you luck out like me and only need one
Seriously...I know homework varies from college to college. My first semester I barely had a THING. All of my mid-terms and finals were open book, open note. It hardly put a dent on me (?) This semester, I've had a lot of projects to do...some of them have been FUN, others...a pain in the ass. So I think it varies on the classes and the college, but for me personally, the homework hasn't been HORRIBLE. I've talked to my friends back at home and they have so much more to do than me. I have written a LOT of papers though. In some classes I've had to do a one page thing every week, but it was totally fine for me because my high school trained me for that kinda.
That's another thing...our classes here are either once a week or twice a week. I personally love it but I know most colleges don't work that way. |

I was never a fan of Math, and that seems to be everyone's weak point here, especially now that most of the Math classes are online and not in a classroom. But definitely my worst class ever was Statistics. Oh, and all my Accounting classes. Yep.
The workloads aren't exceptionally horrible, but you do have to keep up with the work. It all depends. If you're like me, and take a shitload of hard classes at once, you tend to get behind and want to kill yourself -- plus i have a job on top of it. If you keep up with the reading and GO to the classes, you should be fine. It all depends on the classes, and the major. In my major, all my classes now are mostly just reading... a few tests... and lots of presentations and projects. |

One thing that ticks me off about my current situation is that my high school is on block scheduling. That is four classes a day for an hour and a half. We don't have Math all year or English all year. Only for a semester.
So, before this, I sucked in Math. I went a year without a Math, cause of block scheduling. And, guess what? I'm taking remedial Math cause of it. And no credit. Gotta love life. On the bright side, I'd rather know it then go to the College Algebra and fail it. |

| Well in Management, I had to have some sort of article pertaining to...management every week and write about it. Like, a paragraph why I chose it, about it, and my conclusions/thoughts about it. Same in Fashion...same in a few other classes. It just usually pertained of things related to the class that made us analyze, you know? It was actually helpful.
I have a long research paper in my Composition II class, due tomorrow. 15-20 pages, ugh. But it's cool, the class is pop-culture related and we could choose anything which was cool...still that's annoying to write |
