In Estonia, school was supposed to start on January 6..... BUT there won't be any school for a week. We are having "cold holidays".... That means children don't have to go school because it's too cold outside. Want to know the temperatures?

The lowest temp. today was -36,5C= -33,7F.

It's around -30C= -22F right now.

grades 1-6 don't have to go to school when it's -24C= -11,2F

grades 7-9 don't have to go to school when it's -28C=-18,4F

Other grades will decide what to do. But it's freakin cold right now so I guess most of the children will stay at home.

Yikes! We're actually pretty lucky this year! We usually have between -25 and -35 *C this time of year...but right now it's only like -14 or something! Not too bad!

Wow... and i have a rough time handling weather around here. During the day we average 20 F or lower... And at night it gets below. I thought THAT was bad!
