Exactly why I'm saying that's so ridiculous. Those people are cowards. And they will die just as fast if they are in space. If your in space too long, you also die. That's why those people are making ridiculous plans for the future. You must be very smart to also know all of this stuff, like about the nuclear winter. Not many people know about that.

Well if you are Christian this could help because Jesus said he will come like a theif in the night which means no one is going to expect or know when he's comming its gonna be a suprise so don't be afraid of this or anything else being the end of the world. And if you live your life morally and treat people the way they should be treated then you dont ever have to worry about dying.

Thank you for saying that to help me calm down a bit. I am very religious and I am a Christian.

So if it was 100% certain the asteriode was heading directly at the Earth, and was destined to 'bump' into it - creating massive destruction (dinosaur-destruction-like) - 'the end of the world' - extinction of humans ... you wouldn't worry about dying?

HOLY MOLY!!!

I am very much worrying, but I am trying to chill. And if it does hit, I want to live my "last" years in "peace." LOL. But I know where your coming from about how calm we are being. It might not hit, so we try not be as worry-like as we can get. But inside, I am so scared.

I understand, and I do believe/hope/whatever with the 1:1 million chance of it actually hitting, that it won't happen - but you never know... that's the amazing thing about nature .

Cool

Don't worry about this asteroid, you have more chance of winning the jackpot on a lottery than this big rock hitting our planet. Space is big and if the predictions of these scientists are out by even one tiny little decimal place then the asteroid will miss us by thousands of kilometers. Anyway, we should have built even more powerful weapons by then that could vapourise asteroids, so there is nothing to worry about.

Actually the likelyhood that it will hit is 1 to 6 million, so I wouldn't be too worried
