| Cell Phones | | Okay I'm getting a new cell phone for college really soon and I was just wondering, what kind do y'all recommend?
Some lady at a cell phone place was telling me Nextel is crap and Verizon is good. But I've heard bad things about Verizon. And what about Virgin...I know like nothing about Virgin. I was thinking maybe Sprint because I think they have free long distance and that's important with me. RAAAH I don't know |

| Free long distance is good. I have that with AT&T. It's about $30 a month and I have free long distance, 1,000 minutes between 7pm and 7am and 250 anytime minutes. It's a pretty good deal. |

| Ah thanks Karen, I'll keep that in mind.
Yeah Becky, so far I think Sprint seems like the best. I was hoping someone on herre had it so I could hear their opinions on it. I think there's some deal...if you buy one you get a second phone for like, $9.99. So then my mom could have one to call me
I want a flippie phoneeee. I had a Motorola before and it was so boriiing. Okay, the cover was sorta cool. |

For $34.99. And now, if you sign up, you can get the same, but with unlimited night/weekend mins.
Mandy, just make sure you get the most anytime minutes you can possibly get. I think Sprint has one of the best plans right now for the least cost. Anytime minutes go faaaassttt..
*EDIT* Yes I loovvee my flip phone <333 It makes me feel important...(?) lmao |

| I just got a good deal from U.S Cellular. For $40 a month I get 500 anytime minutes, 250 text messages, call waiting, caller ID, call forwarding, 3 way calling, free long distance from your home calling area, voice mail, and a choice of 1000 mobile-to-mobile minutes or unlimited nights and weekends. I chose the Night and Weekends. Also, the phone cost me $29.95 and I get a $30 mail in rebate. Activation fee is only $30 and you don't pay that until your first months bill. The phone I got is a really cool Nokia phone, I love it It's got that nifty polyphonic sound, it kicks ass!
Verizon DOES suck...they were my last provider and I hated them. |
