You buy your cell phone. Now you've got a cell without a plan. And that's the way it is. You buy a card whenever you want it. It gives your cell any amount of money. You THROW out the card. DO NOT GET CINGULAR! they fuckin suck. i swear i ahve a two year contract with them...and i can't wait till it's over. my cell phone i like it, it has a color screen and stuff. but i hate cingular. i really like T-Mobile, they have good plans too!

Get a Nextel...is not crap they have very reliable customer service the phones are tough and have good features, also they have nationwide direct connect so me and you can chit chat

I like my Nextel. Although, i need a plan upgrade because when i got my the plans weren't as good as they are now. Customer reps are really good... when i was having problems with my phone, they sent be a brand new upgrade for free because i bitched at them.

And if you get the $7 per month (?) insurance, anytime anything happens, bring it to the store and they'll fix it or swap it for free.

I believe what dids is refering to is a Track Phone? My friend used to have one like that. Basically all you do is buy a cell phone and then just use calling cards with it. So when one calling card runs out, you buy another one and so on and so on. I guess it would probably be more efficent for people who didn't really NEED a cell phone or just wanted it in case of an emergancy.
