Celine Dion, outstanding Canadian musical artist. Thirty-four years old with one of the most powerful, yet delicate voices in the music industry today. A single note sung at just the right time can send chills racking through your body and straight into your brain.
I sat there listening to "Tell Him", featuring Barbara Streisand, another amazing artist. In the beginning, her voice is soft as if telling the listener she isn't confident. It's full of raw emotion, and not even two minutes into the song, her voice and seemingly low confidence have built up and is sending chills up and down my spine.
You'd have to be deaf not to realize the magnificence and pure emotion Celine pours into her vocals, like a waterfall flowing down the face of a cliff.
It's hard to explain the feeling coursing through me when I listen to such a powerful voice. One second it can be like a train speeding on the tracks, then the next, as delicate as a red rose sitting quietly on a window sill.
The song ends, and I put on another, I can't get anough. It's not like I've never heard her voice before, I grew up listening to it, but I never really listened to it. I've heard the lyrics, felt the rythym, but I never
really listened to the intensity and overwhelming power of her voice untill recently. As the next song ends, I turn on one of her new tracks called "Have You Ever Been In Love". Amazing song, with amazing vocals to back it up.
I think Celine could pull a no use song out of the garbage.
I've repeated mself many times so I see no harm in repeating myself once more, maybe twice; Celin Dion is overflowing with talent. With a powerhouse of a voice, a personality to match, and the voice of an angel to level it all out... I see Celine Dion as one of the greatest vocalists ever. Male or female, Celine overpowers them all.
I bow down to you, Celine. If I had as much talent in a life time, as you reveal in a
single song, I'd be the happiest person on Earth.
Once again; a magnificent, amazing, powerful, delicate, intriguing and beautiful voice.
