But that's how we say it here in America.

It's a stick shift or a standard car. When I first read manual I had to admit I was confused. Until I saw automatic then I assumed manual = standard.

Or at least to me it's always been standard or automatic.

I've only ever driven manual and I don't mind it. But yeah traffic jams are annoying. Yesterday I didn't even get out of 1st gear for 15 mins and then when i finally did get into 2nd I had to go back to 1st. LOL.

Automatics are not for girls! I am a girl and I drive a manual car!!!

Automatic.

Sometimes it's hard enough to drive and listen to music at the same time, or drive and talk on the phone...I can't imagine trying to do THREE things at once! *lol*
