I saw the Ricky Gervaise comedy routine where he was convinced they can be. What do you think?

Yes, there's been evidence in nature. If I'm not mistaken, it's at the same rate as humans.

Interesting article. I've never really thought about the possibility of animals being homosexual, though I must say there's been a couple of times where I've wondered why my dog would sometimes hump other male dogs.

And just in case anyone's interested, I read from another site that the people doing these experiments also found that the more evolved an organism is, the more likely it is to have homosexual desires.

No i dont think they can.....animals dont have a direct consious like we do...they are controlled by instinct and nature - we arent. I dont think animals have any particular consiousness when it comes to sex at all....

I've heard both camps, and wonder how much research is actually being done on the topic. My question is, does it really matter? It's a very intriguing topic.
