It really has some similaraties with the movie, but the boolk its about a much more trasendental theme, Jesus, and the hole base of christian faith.
I also like the way Dan Brown writes and guides the story and the way he forms characters and the profund research that the book has.
Maybe you can give the author a second chance and read Angels and Demons, its prior to Da Vinci Code but personally, I like it better.
..BTW...the movie its good also jajajajaajajajaj.

I just didn't like how he seemed to be trying to throw in twists at every possible angle. Instead of doing that, I wish he would have included more of his research and the like rather than making the story action-like. I guess that's partly due to my tastes for classic literature though.
I do have Angels & Demons and was going to read it this summer (I guess I ran out of time!), so I just might pick that up as my next book. Thanks for the suggestion! Just not my style, and I think that really turned me away from the story. |

Well, I understand yo also, my aunt said that the story was suddenly interrupted and that the ending was weak.....
Anyways...Angels and Demons is the same method of writing but the story is better and much more guided and finished, so I guess that's why I liked it more..... Also, the way he uses faith to create the tension in the book is awesome, because faith plays a much more important role in this book. So characters show their "faithful" side as well as their scientific side. It's simply awesome hehe!!!

| I just ordered in from Amazon Nicole Richie's The Truth About Diamonds, I hope its good, I've heard its "readable" and some others tell me its actually rather good. We'll have to read it and see.
I also bought The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide To the Galaxy, I saw the movie and well, as with every case, the book should be far better than the film, so I'll tell you later if it was any better.
