| Am I Right or Wrong? | | I just finished writing my final final! (hehe!) And there are two questions on the test that relate to each other:
Questions:
3. T/F - NewsHub updates its news stories daily.
22. The NewsHub site updates its news database with information from a number of wire services every _________________________.
My Answers:
3. T
22. 15 minutes
The Real Answers:
3. F
22. 15 Minutes.
Now, NewsHub is updated every 15 minutes, which is still daily. Therefore I answered true to question 3. I got it wrong, and he wont give me the mark for it, even though I specifically answered later on in the test that I know its updated every 15 minutes.
Do you think I should have gotten the mark for question #3? |

| Daily implies only once a day. I would have marked you wrong. |

| Valid response, but questions, especially for final exams, are supposed to be specific. In which case, the question should have read:
3. T/F - NewsHub updates its news stories once a day. |

| I think you should be marked right. The question was worded wrong. |

| There's no way you're going to convince the guy who wrote it that it's wrong and you deserve the point. If it's that important to you, you'll have to take it to a higher power. |

| Technically, I think you're right.
The definition of daily is " occurring or done each day.". The word "once" doesn't appear in any definitions of the word that I found. |

And I clearly defined later on in the exam that I knew it was updated every 15 minutes. So, the fact that I got that one right, should be an indication that I knew what I was talking about in the T/F question. |
