| You should be marked right from what i can see. Your response is a valid one and you should argue with your teacher to mark it correct. But, if it doesn't really make a huge difference like not even a grade difference, then it's really no point cuz it's not really gonna help you out. but hey, if you want to argue, you can. I would. |

The definition of daily is "occurring or done each day.". The word "once" doesn't appear in any definitions of the word that I found. | ^^ That's what I was going to say.
I think you deserve the point for that one. And you're right, questions for finals SHOULD be specific. |

| Well to be honest I think you should have gotten it wrong. I can see and understand your arguement but in the end I think it's wrong.
This is a college exam right? If this were one of my exams from college I would see it like Wdnesday does. Daily means once a day just like annually means once a year. If a certin event happens twice a year you say it happens semi-annually not annually.
Just my thoughts,

I would. | But I DID argue with it. More than half the class did. And the funny thing is, one guy argued with EVERY question, even though he had it completely wrong, and still convinced this guy to mark it right. But for some reason, he wouldn't change the answer to the question that actually made sense.
And a mark is a mark. It can up my average.
Bev- Its technically not a college course. Its a night course that I take at a college.

| Rather stupid asking the same question twice in the first place, obviously if you know one, you know the other...
But generally in exams it's a good idea to go for the obvious answer if you think the question is ambiguous.. |

| fuck man... computer science teachers have the shitiest english skills... if they could talk in code all day they would... hell, i know some that do... i had a question on my midterm that read:
"draw all the binary search trees with the worst case search cost"
now if that doesn't make sense to you and why its confusing, consider this equivalent example:
Q: Write all the words with capital letters:
CAT dog Fish
-> now there are 2 interpretations to this question:
#1 : write ALL the words with capital letters
Answer: CAT DOG FISH
*or*
#2 : write all the words WITH capital letters
Answer: CAT
i disputed it like 3 times, and still didn't get the marks.. fuckers. |

because each, as written on the test, have capital letters in the words. |
