Default 2 Corinthians 1

Paul, an Apostle, by the good Pleasure, of Elohim, and Timothy, our Brother, to the Assembly, of Elohim, that is at Corinth, and to all the Saints, that are in all Achaia. Grace, and Peace to you, from Elohim, our Father, through our Lord, Yeshua, the Messiah. Praise be to Elohim, even the Father, of our Lord, Yeshua, the Messiah, who Comforts us, in all our Troubles, so that, also we may be able to Comfort those, who are in any trouble, by the very Comfort, we ourselves have Received, from Elohim, because even as the Sufferings, of the Messiah, flow over into our Lives, so also through the Messiah, our Comfort overflows, even though we are Oppressed. It is for the sake, of your Comfort, and for the sake, of your Salvation, that we are Oppressed, and if we are Comforted, it is so that you, might also be Comforted, which Produces in you, Patient Endurance, that you may be able to bear, these Sufferings, the same which also we Suffer, and our Hope concerning you, is Firm, because we Know that, if you are Partakers, of the Sufferings, you also are Partakers, in our Comfort. For we would Wish you to Know, my Brothers, about the Hardships, we Suffered in the Province, of Asia, for we were under Great Pressure, far beyond our Ability to Endure, insomuch that we Despaired, of our Lives, indeed in our Minds. We felt the sentence, of Death, but this happened, that we might not rely on ourselves, but on Elohim, who Raises the Dead, he has Delivered us, from such a Deadly Peril, and we Hope, that he will again Rescue us, by the Aid of your Prayers, in our behalf, then many will give Thanks, on our behalf, for the Gracious Favor granted us, in answer to the Prayers, of many.

For our Joy is this, our Conscience Testifies, that we have Conducted ourselves, in the World, and especially, in our Relations with you, that in Simplicity, and Purity, and not through the Wisdom, of the Flesh, but in the Grace, of Elohim, and more Abundantly toward you. For we do not Write, other things to you, but what you well Know, and Recognize, and I trust, you will Recognize them, to the End, just as you have Understood us, in part, you will come to Understand fully, that you can Boast, of us, just as we will Boast, of you, in the Day of our Lord, Yeshua, the Messiah. And in this Confidence, I planned to Visit you, before now, so that you, might have a Second Benefit, I planned to Visit you, on my way to Macedonia, and again, to come back to you, from Macedonia, so that you, may Accompany me, on my way to Judah. When I therefore was considering this, did I Consider it lightly, or do I make my Plans, in a Worldly manner, so that in the same Breath, I Say yes, yes, and no, no, Elohim is the Witness, that our Word unto you, became not yes, and no, for the Son, of Elohim, Yeshua, the Messiah, who was Preached among you, by us, even by me, and Silvanus, and Timothy, did not become yes, and no, but with him, it has always been yes. For no matter how many Promises, Elohim has made, they are yes, through the Messiah, and so through him, believing is Spoken by us, to the Glory, of Elohim. Now it is Elohim, who Established both us, and you, Stand Firm, through the Messiah, Elohim Anointed us, Set his Seal, of Ownership on us, and put his Power, in our Minds, as a Deposit, Guaranteeing what is to come.

Moreover, I testify to Elohim, concerning myself, that it was because I wanted, to spare you, that I came no more to Corinth, not that we are the Masters, of your believing, but we Work with you, for your Joy, because it is by believing, you Stand Firm. So I made up my Mind, that I would not make another painful Visit, to you for if I should make you Sad, who would make my Joyful, unless he whom I have Grieved. I Wrote as I did, so that when I came, I should not be Distressed by those, who ought to make me Rejoice, I had Confidence in you, all that my Joy is, the Joy of you all, for out of Great Affliction, and Anguish, of Mind, I Wrote you, with many Tears, not to Grieve you, but to let you Know the Depth, of my Love for you. If anyone has caused Grief, he has not so much Grieved me, as he has Grieved all of you, to some Extent, not to put it too Severely, this Rebuke Inflicted on him, by the Majority, is Sufficient for him, so that on the other Hand, you ought rather to Forgive, and Comfort him, lest perhaps such a One, should be Swallowed up, with Excessive Grief. Therefore, I Entreat of you, to Confirm, your Love toward him, The reason I Wrote you, that I might Know by your Word, if as to everything, you are Obedient, but if you Forgive anyone, also I Forgive him, and what I have Forgiven, if there was anything to Forgive, it is for your sakes, I Forgave it, in the Sight, of Elohim. In order that Satan, might not Outwit us, for we are not Ignorant, of his Schemes.

Furthermore, when I came to Troas, in Announcing the Messiah, and found that Elohim had Opened, a Door for me, I had no Quietude in my Mind, at not finding Titus, my Brother, but Saying Farewell to them, and left for Macedonia. But Thanks be to Elohim, who at all Times, Leads us in Triumphal Procession, through the Messiah, and through us, spreads everywhere the Fragrance, of the Knowledge of him. For we are to Elohim the Aroma, of the Messiah, among those, who are being Saved, And those who are Perishing, to the One, an Odor, of Death, unto Death, and to the other, an Odor, of Life, unto Life, and unto these, who is Equal. Unlike so many, we do not make a Trade, of the Word, of Elohim, but according to the Truth, and as Men, of Elohim, we Speak, of the Knowledge, of the Messiah, in the Sight, of Elohim. Do we begin again, to show you who we are, or do we like others, need Letters, of Recommendation of us, should be Written to you, or that you, should Write Recommendations of us. You are our Letter, having been Inscribed, in our Minds, well Known, and Read by all Men, being Manifested, that you are a Letter, of the Messiah's, Ministered by us, Written not with Ink, but with the Power, of the Living Elohim, not in the Tablets, of Stone, but in Fleshy Tablets, of the Mind. Such Confidence as this, is ours through the Messiah, before Elohim, not that we are Competent in ourselves, to Claim anything, for ourselves, but our Competence, comes from Elohim, he has made us Competent, as Ministers, of a New Covenant, not of the Letter, but of the Power, for the Letter, of the Law Punishes, with Death, but Elohim, gives Life.

Now if the Ministration, of Death, as contained in the Letter, of the Law, and Engraved on Stones, was so Glorious, that the Sons, of Israel, could not Gaze, into the Face, of Moses, because of the Glory, of his Face, which is Abolished. How then, shall not the Ministration, of Elohim, be still more Glorious, for if there was Glory, in the Ministration, of Condemnation, how much more, shall the Ministration, of Justification, excel in Glory. For that which was Glorified, had no Glory, in comparison, of this excelling Glory, for if that which was Abolished, was with Glory, how much more, shall that which Endures, be with Glory. Seeing therefore, we have this Hope, we Conduct ourselves Bravely, and are not like Moses, who threw a Veil, upon his Face, that the Sons, of Israel, might not behold the Termination, of that which was to be Abolished, but their Minds, were Blinded. For to this Day, when the Old Testament is Read, the same Veil, Rests upon them, and it is not Known to them, that the Veil, has been removed, through the Messiah, but even to this Day, when Moses is Read, the Veil, is upon their Minds, and when anyone of them, is Converted, unto our Lord, the Veil, from him is Uplifted. Now our Lord, is that very Glory, and where the Glory, of our Lord is, there is Liberty, but we all with Open Faces, See as in a Mirror, the Glory, of our Lord, and we shall be Transformed, into the same likeness, from One Glory, to another, just as the Glory, comes through our Lord. For this reason, we are not Weary, of the Ministry, in which we are Engaged, just as we are not Weary, of the Mercies, that have been upon us. But we have Renounced, the Hidden things, of Shame, and we do not Practice Cunning, nor do we Handle the Word, of Elohim Deceitfully. On the contrary, by setting forth the Truth plainly, we exhibit ourselves to all the Consciences, of Men in the Sight, of Elohim, and even if our Gospel, is Veiled, it is Veiled to those, who are Perishing, to those in this World, whose Minds, have been Blinded by Elohim, because they did not believe, lest the Light, of the Glorious Gospel, of the Glory, of the Messiah, should Shine on them. For it is not ourselves, that we Preach, but the Messiah, Yeshua, our Lord, and as to ourselves, that we are your Servants, for Elohim's sake, for Elohim, who Said, let Light Shine, out of Darkness, has Shone in our Minds, so that we may be Illuminated, by the Knowledge, of the Glory, of Elohim, in the Face, of Yeshua, the Messiah. But we have this Treasure, in Jars of Clay, to show that this Excellency, of Power, is from Elohim, and not from us.

We are distressed, in every way, but not overwhelmed, we are harassed, on all sides, but not Conquered, Persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not Destroyed. For we bear in our Body, at all times, the Dying, of Yeshua, that the Life, also of Yeshua, might be Manifested in our Body. For if we are Delivered over Alive, unto Death, on account of Yeshua, even so also will the Life, of Yeshua, be Manifested in this our Body, of Death. Now therefore in us, Death is active, but the Life, is near to you, we then, also who have the same Mind, of believing, as it is Written, I have believed, and therefore also Spoken, we believe, therefore also we Speak, because we Know, that the One, who did Raise up, our Lord, Yeshua, from among, the Dead, will also Raise us up, through Yeshua, and will Present us, with you, in his Presence. All this is for your Benefit, so that the Grace, that is reaching more, and more People, may Multiply Praise, to the Glory, of Elohim. For this reason, we do not grow weary, for though our outward Man Perish, yet the inner Man, is being Renewed, Day, by Day, for while the Troubles, of the Present Time, are little, and light, a great, and limitless Glory, forever, and ever, is Prepared for us. So we fix our Eyes, not at these Seen things, but at those not Seen, for these Seen things, are temporary, but those not Seen, are Eternal. For we Know that if our House, on Earth, this of the Body, were Destroyed, yet we have a Building, of Elohim, a House, not made with Hands, Eternal in Heaven. Also we weary, over this Earthly House, earnestly longing to use, our Heavenly Dwelling, which is in Heaven, if not so, even when we are Clothed, we will still be Naked, while we are in this Earthly House, we Groan, because of its Weight, yet we are unwilling to leave it, but rather wish to add to it, so that Death, will be overcome, by Life.

Now he, who as Prepared us, for this very thing, is Elohim, who also has given us, his Power, as a Deposit, Guaranteeing what is to come. Therefore, because we Know, and are Convinced, that while we Lodge in the Body, we Sojourn, away from Elohim. For we Live by believing, and not be Sight, this is why we are Confident, and Anxious to be Absent, from the Body, and to be at Home, with Elohim. Wherefore we Endeavor than, whether Present, or Absent, we may be Pleasing to him, for we must all Appear, before the Judgment Seat, of Elohim, that everyone may receive, what is due him, for the things done, while in the Body, whether good, or whether of Evil. Knowing therefore the Fear, of Elohim, we try in a Persuasive way, to Win Men, as we are very will Understood, by Elohim, and I trust, we are also Understood by you. We are not Boasting, of ourselves to you, but we give you, occasion to be Proud, of us before those, who Glory as Hypocrites, but who are not sincere, in the Mind, for if we go wrong, we answer to Elohim, and if we go right, it is for you. For the Love, of Elohim compels us, to reason thus, that if One Died for all, then were all Dead, and that he Died for all, that those who Live, may not henceforth Live, for themselves, but for him, who Died for them, and has been Raised. And now from henceforth, we do not Know anyone, in the Body, even though, once we had Known the Messiah, in the Body, we no longer Know him now, whoever from now on, is a Follower, of the Messiah, is a new Creation, Old things have passed away, and all things have become new, through Elohim, who has Reconciled us, to himself, through Yeshua, the Messiah,.and has given to us the Ministry, of Reconciliation. That Elohim, was Reconciling the World, to himself, through the Messiah, not counting Men's Sins, against them, and he has Committed to us, the Message, of Reconciliation. We are therefore, Ambassadors for the Messiah, and it is as if Elohim, was beseeching you, by us, in behalf of the Messiah, therefore we implore you, be Reconciled to Elohim, for he who did not Know Sin, for your sakes made himself Sin, that we may become the Righteousness, of Elohim, through him.

So we beseech you, as Helpers, that the Grace, of Elohim, which you have Received, may not be made Ineffectual, among you, for he Said, I have Answered you, in an Acceptable Time, and I have Helped you, in the Day, of Salvation, now is the Acceptable Time, and now is the Day, of Salvation. Give no occasion, of Offence to anyone, in anything, that there may be no Blemish, on our Ministry, but we in all things, let us show ourselves, to be the Ministers, of Elohim, in much Patience, by Afflictions, by Necessities, by Distresses, by Scourgings, by Imprisonment's, by Tumults, by Labor, by Watching, by Fasting, by Purity, by Knowledge, by Prolonging the Mind, by Kindness, by Grace, by Love without Deceit, by the Speaking, of Truth, by the Power, of Elohim, by the Armor, of Righteousness, on the Right Hand, and on the Left, by Glory, and by Shame, by Praise, and by Abuse, as Deceivers, and yet True. As not Known, and yet we are well Known, as Dead, and we Live on, as Chastised, yet we Die not, as Sorrowful, yet always Rejoicing, as Poor, yet Enriching many, as Possessing nothing, yet Possessing everything. We have Spoken Freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our Hearts, to you, we are not withholding our Affection, from you, but you are withholding yours, from us. I Speak as to my Children, render me my Reward, which is with you, Increase your Love toward me. Do not Unite in Marriage, with unbelievers, for what Fellowship, has Righteousness, with Iniquity, or what Mingling has Light, with Darkness, what Harmony is there, between the Messiah, and Satan, what does a believer, have in common, with an unbeliever, or what Harmony, has the Sanctuary, of Elohim, with Idols. For you are the Sanctuary, of the Living Elohim, even as Elohim Said, I will Dwell among them, and Walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my People. Wherefore come out, from among them, and be Separate, from them, Says Yahweh, and the impure touch not, and I will Receive you, and I will be to you a Father, and you will be to me, for Sons, and Daughters, Says Yahweh almighty. Seeing therefore, we have these Promises, Dear Friends, let us Cleanse ourselves, from all Impurity, of the Flesh, and of the Mind, and Accomplish Sanctification, in the Fear, of Elohim.

Be Patient my Brothers, we have done Evil to no one, we have Corrupted no one, we overreached no one, I do not Say this, to Condemn you, for I have said already, that you are laid up in our Minds, to Die together, and to Live. I am Familiar enough, to Speak Boldly with you, and I am very Proud of you, I am filled with Satisfaction, and I am overwhelmed, with Encouragement in all our Troubles, my Joy Knows no bounds, for ever since we came to Macedonia, our Bodies have had no Rest, but have been Troubled by everything, without was Conflict, and within was Fear. Nevertheless, Elohim, who Encourages the Depressed, Comforted us by the Arrival, of Titus, and not merely by his Arrival, but also through the Encouragement, with which he was Encouraged, as to you, for he told us, of your Love towards us, your Morning, and your Zeal on our behalf, and when I Heard it, I Rejoiced Exceedingly. For even though I made you feel sorry, by my Letter, I do not regret, even though it has caused sorrow, for I can See, that though that very Letter, has made you feel sorry, the sorrow was only for an Hour, but it has made me Exceedingly Happy, not that you were sorry, but that your sorrow led to Repentance. For you became sorrowful, as Elohim Intended, and so were not Harmed in anyway, by us, for sorrow over the things, of Elohim, causes Enduring Repentance, that leads to Salvation, and leaves no regret. But sorrow over the things, of the World causes Death. For that very thing, which Distressed you on account of Elohim, has Produced in you, what Earnestness, what Eagerness to clear yourselves, what Indignation, what Alarm, what Love, what concern, what Readiness to See Justice done, at every point. You have Proved yourselves clear in this matter.
