| 1 Corinthians 4 | | For this reason, anyone who Speaks, in a Tongue, should Pray, that he may Interpret, what he Says, for if I Pray, in a Tongue, the Power Prays, but my Mind, is Unfruitful. So what shall I do, I will Pray, through the Power, but I also will Pray, with my Mind, I will Sing, through the Power, but I also will Sing, with my Mind. If you are Praising Elohim, through your Manifestation, How can One, who finds himself, among those, who do not Understand, Say we believe, to your Thanksgiving, since he does not Know, what you are Saying, you may be giving Thanks, well enough, but the other Man, is not Built up. I Thank Elohim, that I Speak, in Tongues, more than all, of you, but in the Assembly, I had rather Speak, Five Intelligible Words, so that I might Teach others, also than Myriad's, of Words, in an Unknown Tongue. My Brothers, Stop Thinking like Children, only to Evil things, be like Innocent Children, but in your Understanding, be Mature, in the Law, it is Written, with a Foreign Speech, and in another Tongue, I will Speak, to this People, yet for all that, they will not Listen, to me, Says Yahweh. Tongues then, are Established for a Sign, not for Believers, but for Unbelievers, Prophecy however, is for Believers, not for Unbelievers, so if the whole Assembly, comes together, and everyone Speaks, in Tongues, and Uninstructed Ones, of Unbelievers, come in, will they not Say, that you are out, of your Mind, but if some Unbeliever, or One not Instructed, comes in, while everybody is Prophesying, he will be Convinced, by all, and he will be Set Right, by all, and the Secrets, of his Mind, will be Laid Bare, so he will fall, on his Face, and Worship Elohim, Exclaiming Elohim, is really among you. What then shall we Say, Brothers, when you come together, everyone has a Hymn, or a Word, of Instruction, a Revelation, a Tongue, with Interpretation, all of these, must be done, for the Strengthening, of the Assembly, if anyone Speaks, in a Tongue, Two, or at the most Three, should Speak, One at a Time, and must Interpret, if unable to Interpret, the Speaker, should keep Quiet, in the Assembly, and Speak to himself, and Elohim. Two, or Three Prophets, should Speak, and the others should Weigh carefully, what is Said, and if a Revelation, comes to someone, who is Sitting Down, the First Speaker, should Stop, for you can all Prophesy, in Turn, so that everyone, may be Instructed, and Encouraged. The Manifestations, of Prophets, are Subject to the Control, of Prophets, for Elohim, is not a God, of Confusion, but of Peace.
As in all the Assembles, of the Saints, Women in the Assembles, be Still, for it is not Permitted them, to Speak, but they, are to be Under Obedience, as also the Law Says, and if they Wish, to be Informed, on any Subject, let them, ask their Husbands, at Home, for it is Unbecoming, for Women to Speak, in the Assembles. Did the Word, of Elohim Originate, with you, or are you the only People, it has Reached, if anybody Thinks, he is a Prophet, or that he is Inspired, by Elohim, let him Acknowledge, that what I am Writing, to you, is Elohim's Command, but if any Man, Know not, let him not Know. Therefore my Brothers, be Eager to Prophesy, and do not Forbid Speaking, to Tongues, but everything should be done, in a Fitting, and Orderly way. Moreover my Brothers, I Declare to you, the Gospel, which I Preached to you, and which you have accepted, and for which you, have Stood Firm, by which also you, are Saved, if you keep in Remembrance, that very Word, which I have Preached, to you, and if your Conversion, has not been in Vain, for what I received, I Passed on to you. As of First Importance, that the Messiah, Died for our Sins, according to the Scriptures, that he was Buried, that he was Raised, on the Third Day, according to the Scriptures, and that he Appeared, to Peter, and then to the Twelve, after that, he Appeared to more than Five Hundred, of the Brothers, at the same Time, most of whom, are still Living, though some have Fallen Asleep, then he Appeared to James, then to all the Apostles, but Last of them all, as of an Abortion, he also was Seen, of me, Ignorant, and Imperfectly Trained, as I was, for I am the Least, of the Apostles, and do not even Deserve, to be Called, an Apostle, because I Persecuted the Assembly, of Elohim. But by the Grace, of Elohim, I am, what I am, and his Grace towards me, was not without Effect, no, I Worked Harder, than all of them, yet not I, but the Grace, of Elohim with me, whether then it was I, or they, this is what we Preach, and this is what, you believed.
But if it is Preached, that the Messiah, has been Raised, from Among, the Dead, how can some, of you Say, that there is no Resurrection, of the Dead, if there is no Resurrection, of the Dead, then not even the Messiah, has been Raised, and if the Messiah, has not been Raised, our Preaching, is Useless, and so is your believing. More than that, we are then Found, to be False Witnesses, about Elohim, for we have Testified, about Elohim, that he Raised the Messiah, from among, the Dead, but if he did not, Raise him, if in Fact, the Dead, are not going to be Raised, for if the Dead, are not going to be Raised, then the Messiah, has not been Raised, and if the Messiah, has not been Raised, your believing is Futile. You are still, in your Sins, then also those, who have Fallen Asleep, in the Messiah, have Perished, and if in this Life only, we have Hope, in the Messiah, we are the most Miserable, of all Men, but now we Know, the Messiah is Risen, from among, the Dead, and he became the Firstfruits, of those, having Fallen Asleep. For since Death, came through a Man, the Resurrection, of the Dead, also comes through a Man, for as through Adam, all Die, so through the Messiah, all will be made Alive, everyone in his Order, the Messiah, was the Firstfruits, afterwards they, that are the Messiah's, at his coming, and then will be the End, when he Hands over, the Kingdom, to Elohim, the Father, after he has Destroyed, all Dominion, Authority, and Power, for he must Reign, until he has put all his Enemies, Under his Feet, the Last Enemy, to be Destroyed, is Death. For he has put everything, Under his Feet, now when it Says, that everything, has been put Under him, it is Clear, that this does not Include Elohim himself, who put everything, Under the Messiah, when he has done this, then the Son himself, will be Subject to him, who put everything under him, so that Elohim, be all things, in all things.
Now if there is no Resurrection, what will those, who believed do, who are Dead, if the Dead, are not going to be Raised, at all, why did the Messiah Die, for them, and as for us, why do we Endanger ourselves, every Hour. I Affirm, by your Pride, my Brothers, which I have through our Lord, Yeshua, the Messiah, Day, by Day, I Die, if after the Manner, of Men, I were Thrown, to Wild Beasts, at Ephesus, what good would come to me, if the Dead, Rise not, if such is the Case, let us Eat, and Drink, for Tomorrow, we Die. Do not be Misled, Bad Company, Corrupts, good Character, come Back, to your Senses, as you ought, and Stop Sinning, for there are some, who are Ignorant, of Elohim, I Say this, to your Shame. But someone may Ask, how are the Dead Raised, with what kind, of Body, will they come Forth, Foolish Man, what you Sow, does not come to Life, unless it Dies, when you Sow ,you do not Plant, the Body, that will be, but just a Seed, perhaps of Wheat, or of Barley, or of the Rest, of Seeds, but Elohim, give to it a Body, as he has Determined, and to each of Seed's, a Proper Body, and every Body, is not alike. For the Body, of a Man, is one thing, and that of a Beast, is another, and that of a Bird, is another, and that of a Fish, is another, and there are Bodies, Celestial, and Bodies, Terrestrial, but the Splendor, of the Celestial, is One, and that, of the Terrestrial, is another, and the Splendor, of the Sun, is One thing, and the Splendor, of the Moon, is another, and the Splendor, of the Stars, is another, for One Star, Differs from another Star, in Splendor, so will it be, with the Resurrection, from among, the Dead. The Body, that is Sown, is Perishable, it is Raised Imperishable, it is Sown, in Dishonor, it is Raised, in Glory, it is Sown, in Weakness, it is Raised, in Power, it is Sown, a Natural Body, it is Raised, a Flesh, and Bone Body, if there is a Natural Body, there also is a Flesh, and Bone Body, so it is Written, the First Man Adam, became a Living Soul, the Last Adam, became a Being, with Life in himself, the Being, with Life in himself, did not come First, but the Natural, and after that, the Being, with Life in himself.
The First Man, was of the Dust, of the Earth, the Second Man, was Raised Imperishable, so are those, who are of the Earth, and as is the Man, Raised Imperishable, so also are those, who will be Raised, from among, the Dead, and just as we, have Borne the Likeness, of the Earthly Man, so shall we have Life in ourselves. I Declare to you, Brothers, that Flesh, and Blood, cannot Inherit, the Kingdom, of Elohim, nor does the Perishable, Inherit the Imperishable, Listen, I Tell you, a Mystery, we will not all Sleep, but we, will all be Changed Suddenly, as in the Twinkling, of an Eye, at the Last Trumpet, for the Trumpet will Sound, the Dead, will be Raised Imperishable, and we will be Changed. For the Perishable, must Clothe itself, with the Imperishable, and the Mortal, with Immortality, when the Perishable, has been Clothed, with the Imperishable, and the Mortal, with Immortality, then the Saying, that is Written, will come True, Death as been Swallowed up, in Victory, where O Death, is your Victory, where O Death, is your Sting, the Sting, of Death, is Sin, and the Power, of Sin, is the Law. But Thanks be to Elohim, he gives us the Victory, through our Lord, Yeshua, the Messiah, wherefore my Brothers, and my beloved, Stand Firm, let Nothing Move you, always give yourselves Fully, to the Work, of Elohim, because you Know, that your Labor, in Elohim, in not without Fruit.
Now about the Collection, for Elohim's People, do as I have Instructed, the Assembles, of Galatia, to do, on the First Day, of every Week, let each, of you put aside, and keep in his house, whatever he can Afford, so that when I come, no Collections, will have to be made, then when I Arrive, I will give Letters, of Introduction, to the Men, you Approve, to Carry your Gracious Gift, to Jerusalem. But if it be a Fit Work, for me, also to go, they will Accompany me, after I go through Macedonia, I will come to you, for I will be going through Macedonia, perhaps, I will stay with you awhile, or even spend the Winter, so that you can Help me, on my Journey, wherever I go, for I do not want, to See you now, and make only a passing Visit, I Hope, to spend some Time, with you, if Elohim Permits. For I will continue at Ephesus, until Pentecost, because a Great Door, is Opened to me, which is Full, of Opportunities, and there are many, who Oppose me, but if Timothy comes, See to it, that he has nothing to Fear, while he is with you, for he is Engaged, in Elohim's Work, just as I am, let no one therefore, refuse to accept him, but send him on his way, in Peace, so that he may return to me, I am Expecting him, along with the Brothers. My Brothers, as for Apollos, I Strongly urged him, to Visit you, with the Brothers, but he was Quite Unwilling, to go now, but he will go, when he has the Opportunity, be on your Guard, Stand Firm in believing, be Men, of Courage, be Strong, let all your Affairs, be Conducted, with Love.
But I Exhort you Brothers, you Know the House, of Stephanas, that they were the Firstfruits, of Achaia, and that they have Devoted themselves, for the Service, of the Saints, that also you give Ear, to all those, who are as they are, and to everyone, who Joins in the Work, and Labors at it. I was Glad, when Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, arrived, for that which was lacking, on your Part, they have Supplied, for they have Refreshed, my Mind, as will as yours. Therefore Recognize them, who are Similar, the Assembles, in the Province, of Asia, send you Greetings. Aquila, and Priscilla, Greet you much, in our Lord, with the Assembly, in their House. All the Brothers here, send you Greetings. Greet one another, with a Kiss, of Love. This Salutation, is from me Paul, in my own Handwriting, whoever does not Love, our Lord, Yeshua, the Messiah, Curse be on him. Come, O Lord. The Grace, of Elohim, be with you. My Love, to all of you, in the Messiah, Yeshua, believe.
This Letter is Dedicated to the
Memory, of my Teacher.
