I loathe Paris Hilton, and agree with 99% of that.

However.

-Modeling, especially Runway is hard work, and the profession shouldnt be put down.

-Not all porn is disgraceful. Jenna Jameson is in absolute full control of her career, and the only female porn star to do so. Making her someone that alot of people can, and should look up to. It sucks that porn has such a bad rep. To quote Jenna's father, "Everyone has sex. Jenna just does it on film."

I dont believe that the fact that she's making money proves that she's smart. I also dont believe for a second that she's thinking of all of these ideas up on her own. If she were, she would have done it a long time ago. Someone thought up the idea for The Simple Life, and then marketed the hell out of Paris.

(Nicole on the other hand, is awesome, and talented, and deserves the fame that she's getting. I like how she's not doing EVERYTHING all at once, but focusing on one thing, like her singing career and taking her time at it.)

I agree with the articles that speak of Paris Hilton. I knew what she was all about the first moment I learned of her. She is all about an image. She is young and rich and stereotypically pretty. I don't think she is evil or anything though. She is a symbol of what many people like and aspire to. Somebody is watching. Somebody is buying. If it is her today it will be another Paris Hilton tomorrow.

We love to hate so many. I think it comes out of frustration though. There is so much that can be accomplished with the platforms that money and fame can bring. These star types have the potential to have everyone's ear and so often they are just about opening a clothing line or something. But it is kind of like a majority rules scenario, and the majority seems to want eye candy and riches and youth and all that.

On the other hand when celebrities talk about political issues many get mad and say that, actors, for instance, don't know enough about many of the topics they promote or disprove of to be saying so much. So it is a difficult situation to figure and get a handle on.

I think that if they put too much other programing on television such as nature shows, documentaries, debates, or what have you, that many in the audience would just turn it off. Paris Hilton looks to be having so much fun. Maybe everybody just wants to have fun. To keep things light. Maybe thats why they love Paris Hilton.

And even she has an entire team behind her back she's the main image of the Paris Hilton brand, and she's the one who gives the face to the public.....and that takes a lot, at least to my opinion.

About the beeing rude part, I somewhat agree, but, the whole show is acted, (that dosent justify anything)..but then again...what's the behaviour you would expect from a rich, spoiled, good for nothig heiress.??

As I've said...she's all about an image.

Bless Paris Hilton, she clearly has plenty of fans around the globe but there's also a sturdy queue of people who aren't so keen.

But the latest star to blast the hotel heiress has pushed his way to the front of the queue with some particularly strong words. Former Hollywood hellraiser and professional boxer, Mickey Rourke, has got his knickers in a twist over Paris' latest career move. He reckons that she doesn't deserve to be called an actress and instead she's just one of many untalented people who are bringing down the credibility of real actors and actresses.

Explaining his disillusionment with Hollywood, the Nine And A Half Weeks star said:

"It has to do with little tiny **** that gets under my skin. Business stuff. It's like... the word 'actress'. You know. Cate Blanchett is an actress. Paris Hilton is not a ****ing actress. I mean, how can they use the same ****ing word?

So far Paris has appeared in 10 films, with her latest offering House Of Wax coming out this year - she has two more films in production. Bet Mickey hasn't bought advance tickets.

Yes. Because she used curse words her opinion is now completely void.

With or without her choice of language I still agree with what she said. It's like certain musical artists being called "artists" when really...they aren't and there are tons of others out there who do everything themselves and get no credit for it, or at least not the credit they deserve.
