'Playgirl' Magazine Wants Kanye West To Pose Nude

Grammy Award-winning rapper and producer Kanye West caused quite a stir in the publication world last week when he told New York's Daily News that he planned to charge magazines to appear on their covers in the future. West said, "These magazines make money from ads and subscriptions...So if you're putting me on the cover and people are buying your magazine because of me, why shouldn't I get paid to be on that cover? You are going to have to pay me to do magazine covers now!"

While the editors of magazines such as GQ and Ebony found West's statement humorous and ridiculous, allhiphop.com reports that Playgirl magazine is interested in getting West to pose nude for an undisclosed fee.

At press time, West's representatives had not responded to the offer. In related news, West is currently working on his new album, Late Registration, but he will be releasing one more single and video, "Spaceship," from his double-platinum debut, the College Dropout, in the coming weeks.

Would this be an extra fee if you wanted him on your cover? Like...say the mag was like, "Okay, we'll give you [insert ammount here]" and he comes back and says, "Okay. But you also have to pay my fee of [insert price here]." ??

If it's something like that...he needs to get off his high horse. God, he really irks me.

I agree, he is really bugging me. Especially since I read Blender the other day and he was telling them to f*** off because they DARED give his album 4 stars. OMG, like how dare they! I used to like him, it's going out the window.

Good lord, nothing like not being appreciative, huh? Most artists would be thrilled to have their album be given 4-star reviews. He's got talent, but he's not the best there's ever been so he needs to stop acting like it.

People freak out about Mandy whenever they hear Kanye mentioned. It's silly! She's already heard the story, by the way.
