Paris Hilton has been publicly shamed by one of the world's most famous popstars.

She was in the audience at a Las Vegas club watching Prince perform when he noticed her and called her up to the stage.

He handed a 'delighted' Paris a microphone once she got up on stage but soon angered her when he mischievously said to the audience: 'Lets see if she can really sing'.

Paris then stormed off the stage and left just two songs later although her representative denies this happened.

The poor 'Stars are Blind' singer has been having a tough few days. Her nemesis Shanna Moakler posted all her personal phone numbers and email address on her MySpace account last week.

This was a revenge attack after Shanna, who was once Miss USA, accused Paris and Lindsay Lohan of hacking her own MySpace account last year.

Paris and Shanna have a long standing feud because Paris was once seen fating 'Blink 182' drummer Travis Barker who is Shanna's estranged husband.

Haha, it may be rude, but you have to admit it is a little funny. There's so much pointless drama going on, though. I mean how mad can somebody really get over Myspace? Especially celebrities like Paris and Shanna. It's probably all a cry for publicity if you ask me.

But yeah, I give Prince props for doing what he did.
