Anyhow, an indirect object is what the direct object is directed towards.
Example: Mandy threw the ball to Billy. In this instance, "Mandy" is the subject, "threw" is the verb, "the" is just an article, "ball" is the direct object, "to" is just...eh...not sure

(the infinitive, maybe???), and "Billy" is the indirect object
