MC and Aguilera have never gotten along, from what I have heard. I heard that Mariah didn't want Christina to be on Diva's live 2000, which is why Christina got bumped to Vh1's men strike back. But thats just a rumour.

P.S. Nobody should ever pick a fight with MC because MC will use so many big words that it would be completely impossible to respond back.

P.P.S. Christina has always irked me.

LMFAO@ PPS.

The Divas thing was a rumor. Christina had scheduling conflicts, I think Christina said. Can't remember what it was. BUT, this was in the new GQ interview, so I think it's funny that she's trying to say it was taken out of context lmfao.

Could it be that what was printed in the interview was taken out of context? Like by the writer....ahhh that IS a possibility!

Off topic but eerily similar to that, I had a dream a few nights ago that I was having lunch at some restaurant in L.A. and Mariah Carey came in for lunch. Mine was a bit different, because Mariah wasn't eating lunch with me, but rather she was eating lunch with Madonna.

However the hell I dreamed of that is just beyond me.

Well, they both bother me so I'm the perfect candidate to give an opinion

Mariah, she's great and all, sure, and Christina...yeah her too. They're both wrong. They're both dissing someone. I doubt any of it's for publicity. "If I diss Mariah, people will buy me album! Teehee!" I doubt Christina said that. And I doubt Mariah's saying the same either. For example, Paris Hilton is all over hatin' on Lindsay Lohan (and I love her for it, by the way), yet I doubt she's saying "I should diss Lindsay Lohan so in so many months, people will buy my album."

People will forget about this by the time Christina's album comes out anyway.

ROFL Honey, EVERYTHING Paris does is a well thought out publicity stunt, so she probably did say that. lol

Paris Hilton equals trash. Anyways, whatever drama is going on there, I'm sure people watching on are going to take sides because they always do, and so both Mariah and Christina are getting the people's respect this way.

If I were them I wouldn't want to have the respect of people like that, but hey they're still their customers, and the customers determine the art of the business.

Well, Mariah doesn't really need a reason to stir up shit. Christina, Madonna, Britney, etc - their careers are based on publicity stunts and such to get attention. The only publicity stunt I ever remember Mariah pulling was during the Charmbracelet era, her record company told her to play on the "woe is me feel sorry for me for my breakdown and Glitter" card - and obviously it didn't work too well.

Christina didn't DENY she said those exact words. You can't take something out of context if it was said the way it was reported - which Christina didn't deny she said.

My bad, mariah can do no wrong. How can I forget?

I didn't mean someone reading it out of context, I was talking about the interview being printed out of context. Certainly wouldn't be the first time it happened in the history of magazines. But whatever, I'm not trying to prove you wrong I was just saying there could be another possibility. A hypothesis if you will. But no, let's just point fingers and bash people!
