I don't get that sorry. | Not really. Mariah is the only one who used to do it. She's lightened up on it. And yeah, for people that don't know any better, she was a bad influence as far as that goes. Not to mention she has never purposely worn certain things or acted a certain way to try and "shock" people to create a buzz. That's just saying its okay to do stupid things for attention. And yeah, for people that don't know any better, that isn't a good role model. Mariah didnt come out like that for 7 years, and even then, she's basically died down on it. Don't know who else you're referring to. Quote: Originally posted by Swany Example or not, you still haven't gotten over it. Yes, it's gross, there's no denying that. But why must we spend so many countless hours out of our lives criticizing her for it? And not everything is eaten with silverware (ie burgers, tacos, ribs, fries, chicken and other finger foods.) | Gotten over it? I never cared too much about it, however AS AN EXAMPLE, it was useful to explain my point.
But not everyone eats those foods the same way, either You can eat ribs with a knife and fork, tacos into taco salad which you eat with a fork, fries, etc (just fuckin with you). |

I'm not shopping in the woman's department just because I have a child . I wear the same things I wore before. If I want to wear a strapless shirt I wear it. Doesn't make me any worse of a Mom/Role Model.
Anyways I think Britney is a pretty good role model....shes young, successful, etc etc. |

And yes, you're right, not everyone eats those foods the same way, but that really isn't the point. |

| Whoa, even I wouldn't have gone there!!! I don't think she would have had one either.
Jess: Not talkin bout strapless shirts lol, but I see what you're gettin' at.
And Swany: When you're a "fan" no matter how big or small of one you are, you usually remember 99% of the things that artist has done or things that have been discussed in that artists' forum. |

| Kizzie, what the heck are you talking about. Lately when I've seen Britney on the streets, she's been covered up. I havn't seen one piece of revealing clothing on her for the longest time. Plus, I don't really see the point of you talking about the way Britney dresses when you had that one siggy of Mariah basically showing her ass for the whole world to see while she was in some hooker position. Was she not wearing a strapless shirt and she wasn't covered on the bottom, at all. Just like in the siggy you have now. Her dress if falling off, you can see her of her butt cheek and half of her breast. For one, I don't think Mariah has died down on it a little. She still shows alot of skin. In "We Belong Together", I dont consider just wearing a shirt, fully dressed or dying it down. I'm not hating on Mariah, I like her and want to get her new album. Her new stuff is amazing. I just had to say that because you seem a little hypocritical after saying all that stuff about Britney. |
