| Britney said she was taking 6 months off on E! and ET!!! | | It was on entertainment tonight and e online.. It quoted her from the NYLA opening.. Also at the NYLA opening were Rudy Guiliani, Donald Trump, Debbie Gibson, Brian McFadden, one of the Hilton sisters and some other B level celebs. Worse of all it was in total downpour of rain |

| well originally she was taking a year off... she must be too scared that she will fall out of the spotlight with a year break... reviews were too hard on "Britney"... And from what I've heard, she was really disappointed with the sales of it. But it is my favorite album... |

| Yes, she said that at her NYLA opening. I think it's well deserved and actually needed. If she doesn't take a break soon, she's gonna be burned out! She deserves to just relax for awhile. I just hope she still makes some appearances! |

| Good artists take time off...you can't be 24/7 constantly in the spotlight...
I can't stand this whole "put out an album every single year" deal. Take time off, for yourself AND your career. Take a vacation, chill for a bit...and then spend time bettering yourself. Write some music. Spend quality time working on it. The best bands take a year or two off at a time... |

| That's true... I mean if you put out a new album every year, you really don't have time to be more creative which means everything you put out is going to sound the same... |

| I'm so pleased to learn that...she desperately needs it...I hope she starts work on a new album when she's done with her sabbatical...hopefully she'll return to the scene in a year or a year and a half...with a new look, a new sound, and a new direction...ready to take on the next chapter of her career... |

| I agree. She needs time off to rest. She should come here to Minnesota. I'll give her a 6 month vacation she'll never forget...she may need to take longer though....about 9 months. lol j/k
But going back to what I first said, she does need to rest and get away for awhile. Regroup and make her next album with better producers. And she needs to leave Jive. They suck. |
