When I first heard that she was going to be recorcding an album, I thought it would be a half-assed attempt at singing just so she could get a little more fame with some bad songs and then she would disappear. But I heard this song on MTV and I was really surprised, I liked it! I think that it's more original than Jessica's songs (who always goes the safe route with remakes or generic sounds) and it was fun! She looks much better with brown hair and she sings a LOT better than she acts.

So tell me that I'm not the only one who likes this song.

I feel the exact same way you do. I first saw/heard it on a 20/20 Special this past Friday and I shrugged it off. But then I heard a piece of it somewhere else and I decided to give it a chance, especially when she performed it on Jay Leno this past Monday I think. I realized that it probably is better than anything Jessica's ever done, and that I really liked it.

So I guess you're not the only one.

No you're not the only one. lol My friend sent me a few songs of hers a few weeks ago, and I thought they were pretty cool. I just don't like the way she sings "pieces" in "Pieces Of Me." I dont know what it is, but it annoys me haha I'm like, SAY IT RIGHT DAMMIT!!

Have you heard "Just Let Me Cry"? It sounds EXACTLY like No Doubt's "Ex-Girlfriend" haha But I looove it. <3

Sorry, I meant "Just Let Me Cry" lol I dunno why I typed "Don't", I'm listening to the song right now haha

I have no idea if it's an older song or what. But I'm pretty sure it's on her new/recent album...? I can send it to you if you want, it's awesome.

I've managed to find a song called "Just Let Me Cry" but not a lot of people have it and I haven't been able to download it from anyone. And yeah, the way she says pieces kind of got to me at first, but it's grown on me.

I'm really hoping that she isn't instantly labeled as "Jessica Simpson's Little Sister" and written off because I like her a lot more.

I feel bad for her in that she's always gonna be compared to her sister, yknow? That must suck, if it bothers her.

As soon as I posted that, I found it. Her music has personality. This is a fun song! This is an album I might buy.

Yeah, and the whole sister thing. They are so definitely different, but that won't matter.
