Uhh... she's the one bringing it up in interviews. When asked "How do you deal with the pressures of being famous?" months after the SNL incident, she answered "The SNL incident was pretty tough to deal with, but you just gotta let it go," or something to that effect. But the question was completely general but she answered it as if they asked her "How did you deal with Saturday Night Live?"

And at the award show, when she accepted her award, she started doing that hoe-down, again.

I mean, it's fine if someone were to ask her about it and she answered, but she's generally the one to bring up the whole topic.

I don't think it's a big deal that she wrote about something she experienced. Other artists write about breakups, death and other things that have happened to them, so why shouldn't she? Is it an Ashlee Simpson double standard?

Because with all of the instances we've mentioned above where she brings it up, or where the media brings it up, or whatever. It's just too much. You know? There's a time when you've just got to let these kinds of things go, and I think that time, for her, has come and gone, and now it's into overkill.

I love all the titles with the exception of Didn't Steal Your Boyfriend, who knows though that could end up being my favorite track

Who cares if she writes about SNL or whatever? It was a big part of her life and if she wrote about it and it's good why not put it on the CD? It's not like the odds are the lyrics won't refer to the SNL/whatever events directly, but like everyone else who writes songs you write it on something you went through or are dealing with. I don't see the big deal

Yeah I get your point about the interviews thing, but writing is different. I'm sure she wrote about it a while back and if it's actually decent why not put it on the CD?

I think it's gonna be like a "Cry Me A River" thing, it was "about Britney," but it's not like he talks about her directly in the song.
