Okay, when Rolling Stone released their review of Mariah's eighth record, I replied with the following:

Whoever reviewed this is either a moron, or was paid a generous amount of cash by Tommy Matolla.
I will laugh when RS give JLo more than two stars...HAHA idiots.Anyways, my review, since RS can't do it without being paid-off...Since her so-called disasterous, yet in my opinion EXCELLENT record "Glitter," the ol' MC bounces back with fresh new tunes for fans all over to enjoy. From the booty-shaking rendition of Cam'ron classic in "Boy (I Need You)" to the retro-intense "Subtle Invitation," Mariah has yet to disappoint me in the least. Her whispery, yet still crackin voice, Mariah sounds better than ever. Don't like to dance? Well forget "You Got Me," a very trendy Jay-Z anthem in which reminds me of the smurfs from the vocals within the instrumentation and "Lullaby," which could fool ballad lovers after turning into one of the best songs Mariah has ever done, as well as "You Had Your Chance," which samples a classic Dr. Dre beat from 'Ain't Nothin But A G Thang'...but again don't fret, MC hasn't left behind her ballads. "I Only Wanted" is undoubtedly one of the best tracks on the record, a very heartfelt ballad in which she belts to her voice's content towards the end. "My Saving Grace" offers no less than pre-Glitter glamour ballads, which can be compared to 1999's "Can't Take That Away" in spiritual sense. Don't like ballads either? Fine, Mariah takes care of you all as well. Her floored rendition of Def Leppard's hit "Bringin On The Heartbreak" reminds us all why we love Mariah - the voice, the passion, and that note! Yes, THAT note! "Irresistible" is a simply remarkable songs, featuring the likes of West Side Connection on top of Ice Cube's "You Know How We Do It." Mariah, please tell me you were just fooling me when you released this record!! It's too damn good. CHARMBRACELET has something for everyone. This is, hands-down, one of Mariah's best records to date, and hopefully the fans will come through, and those haters best recognize Mariah is still pure talent! BUY IT DECEMBER 3rd, you will not be disappointed. I can only hope "Through The Rain" becomes a great success, as well as her duet with Nstinker-turned-solo-MJ-wannabe Justin Timberlake, "Yours" which is a beautiful song all around. Eminem, buddy, "Clown" around much? You should have never intimated you were lovers, when you know very well you never even touched each other, man...it's like Justin saying he got into Britney's pants

And Kelly Price and Joe, ya'll are the illest MFers to lay a track down with MC since Mase & P.Diddy. Big ups to CHARMBRACELET and Def Jam, and most importantly, MARIAH CAREY and the FANS!

TAKE NOTE OF THE BOLDED PRINT, and then take a look at this J.Lo "This Is Me...Then" Rolling Stone Review:
ROLLING STONE RATING: * * VIEWER RATING: * *
Will Jennifer Lopez never shut up about how humble she is? Lopez could be the tin-pot Evita of inoffensive R&B, with "Jenny From the Block" being her "Don't Cry for Me, the Bronx." Still, "Jenny" is worth listening to -- its windup/wind-down chorus is as sly and curvy as Lopez, who shrugs off her showbiz ascendancy with the line "Used to have a little/Now I have a lot." The same cannot be said for the rest of This Is Me . . . Then, her third full-length album. Most of the songs are pitched too high for her register, the production sounds cheap, and love has dulled whatever street edge she might have had -- no more party anthems for the future Mrs. Affleck. The worst offender is the adolescent poetry of "Dear Ben," with its earache phrasing ("You make my/Bah-dee feel") and daunting lack of melody.
