Sure, mainstays Rodney Jerkins and the Neptunes are again logging time with the pop princess, but she has also recorded with Ashanti producer 7 Aurelius and the Matrix, the production team behind Avril Lavigne's hit singles. And don't forget Fred Durst.

"I'm doing something for her, something really ridiculous. [A] record I'm going to do for Britney is going to give Justin a reason to cry," Aurelius said, suggesting a song that answers Timberlake's "Cry Me a River," which is widely believed to be about Spears. "It was her people that came and sat down, played me a lot of stuff she did. We sat down and talked out ideas and I got to working on stuff. It sounds crazy."

The pop princess also told trade magazine The Hollywood Reporter that she had taken meetings while in Europe with producer William Orbit (Madonna, Blur) and electronic duo Daft Punk about possible collaborations. Her working with Orbit was suspected in November, but Spears wouldn't spill.

Phoning in to "TRL" on Friday, Spears said she'll again work with producer Rodney Jerkins for the follow-up to last year's "Britney."

EXACTLY

The Greatest Hits CD will probably be like 13 or 14 songs. It is doubtful Jive will put all of her singles on it.

The remix CD will be i'm guessing about 6 songs.

Hopefully the DVD will be complete with ALL of her videos including alternate versions. However, we will probably only get the videos released in North America with no alternates.

I doubt "Not A Girl" will make on the Greatest Hits CD. If it does, Jive is gay. Oh wait -- they already are.

I dunno, Swany. I never heard about Missy Elliot. But those I posted are all from MTV and Britney's mouth, but uh...I wanna hear the 7 Aurelius tracks the worst...then the Neptunes...then the Fred Durst tracks

There were very early reports from back when she was working with Fred Durst that her and Missy met to discuss an upcoming project for In The Zone. The VMA's were supposed to be a preview of it, or something.
