Seriously, WTF is up with the comparing. She's not gonna do an album like Stripped. She's not Christina. She's gonna do a BRITNEY album. I agree with Jennifer...Britney's stuff is old. It's not OLD, but music has changed since it came out. Things are different and TRUST ME, her next album will be different as well.

I'm not comparaing them at all. I never compare artists. I would just like Brit to do an album like "Stripped." Like "Stripped" shows the real Christina, Brit can do an album showing the real her. I think that would be awesome.

I meant in general, Bevs, not against you Yes, I see what you're saying now. An album that showcases the "real" Britney would be very nice. I think it's a-comin'. I hope.

Well, I agree with you but I don't think Britney will keep on making immature songs like Bombastic Love.

Okay- I just finished watching TRL Premiere the Christina Aquilera video for her latest song "Beautiful", and let me just say.. I am not a fan, but wow. If Christina did this video as her first single instead of the filth of "Dirrty", I would've bought her album.

But, that is not what I want to discuss here. I'm going off topic, anyways… as I was saying…

I was watching "Beautiful", and I was caught off guard by the beauty, and SUBSTANCE of the video… it had a meaning, it left you really thinking… wanting more. It showed a story.

Recently I felt the same way when I saw the video for another artist I had previously hated with a passion, Justin Timberlake. Now, don't get me wrong, I still hate the guy.. his music never really was my thing, and his attitude has gotten to me more than once, but this video was filmed excellently, and it told a story.. once again, it left you wanting more… it had substance.

In fact, both the songs "Cry Me A River", and "Beautiful" have substance. They aren't just songs put out there for dancing, or songs about how so in love you are.

That is the case with most songs I like nowadays.

Then I went back and listened to some Britney songs. And I started remembering the videos. Well, I am a fan but, I really don't know how I'll take it if we get more songs like "Bombastic Love" on the fourth album. Because Britney has supposed to be evolving her image with this album, and I hate seeing her turned into a joke.

Anyways, I hope Britney comes back stronger than ever. With more grown-up lyrics with real substance. I hope she begins to show her true vocal talent. I also hope to see her take a harder edge, no more Bubblegum pop!!! I'd love to see a cd from Britney with a good mix, like perhaps, Pink's latest cd MissUndaztood.

That's my current opinion of Britney's image musically. What would you like to see in the future?
Okay, I understand what you're trying to say and I respect you opinion, but I have to disagree.

If Britney comes back and does songs like "Bombastic Love" like you mentioned, I really don't see anything wrong with that. I think Britney should be putting on her forth album what comes from the heart. Really, I don't think that she should be listening to anyone tell her what she can and cannot do. Other than on the "BOMT" album she really hasn't done any of that "bubblegum pop" (what the hell is that anyway?).

I certainly don't want to see her come out with songs that she doesn't like yet sell albums. What's the point in that? I want something that'll come from the heart and shows her true feelings towards life as she has done in the past. Whether or not Brit writes them.

Britney should do what Britney wants! Bottom line!!

Thanks!!

Well, i guess everyone is expecting a change on the new album, and there WILL be a change. Brit's working with Guy Orbit and the likes so her music (like some sources have already said) will probably go towards a "Dance" edge! That's cool!
