I think these awards were the best they have been in a couple of years but suffers due to poor direction and drunk ass presenters. And those Emo votes.

Pink winning Best Pop was kinda shocking. I loved when she got up there and acted "stupid" and then said "I broke it." when the Moonmans flag fell off. That was funny. And when she came out and sang 2 lines from Dear Mr. President, awesome. I really wanted 30 Seconds to mars to win Best Rock. Jared Leto looked SO FUCKING HOT! <3 that man. Congrats to A.F.I. tho.

So the show didnt suck suck, um, Jack Black... yeah. His "skits" were lame. The Jackass vote shorts were HILARIOUS as fuck! I love Chris, so hawt. And he came out with shirt off and drunk, I was like "Oh jesus, yes do me!". I cant wait for that movie. *brings back memories* LMFAO when Fall Out Boy came up and Wee Man hit Patrick in the nuts! Oh, poor guy, he tried to hide that he was in pain. Damn that drunk wee man.
I'm kinda pissed that Madonna didnt win ANYthing. Thats bullshit.

Avenged Sevenfold looked so out of place there. LOL That poor little girl was scared. How much did they pay her to "dance" with Fergie? It's funny how MTV all of a sudden pays attention to A7X after thier 3rd album. I'm sure they left after that. lol

Britney and Kevin where just awkward but somewhat funny. I liked the "Shit!" Britney did. Did people boo when they were introduced? LOL

Panic! At the Disco were amazing! I loved the custumes and set dressing. I missed My Chemical Romance at the pre-show, I only saw after they performed. Ugh, I hate Gerads blonde hair. He looks weird. No, No, dye it black dude.
OK Go, Alll American Rejects, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, The Killers (I cant wait for the new album) and The Raconteurs were awesome! I LOVED Christina's performance! She looked so beautiful and when the band came up behind her, wow. She wasnt hitting the notes but it was still a fantastic performance! The song is a lil sad to be the second single tho. And does Beyonce have to come down from the roof in every one of her performances? She was hot tho, I must own that coat.

What was Jennifer thinking with that head wrap?! And congrats(?) to Panic for winning video of the year even tho Madonna should have won. *holds grudge* In all not a bad show, better than last years. More rock MTV, thanks.

They need to stop getting such self-indulgent hosts. The show was funny when the hosts were actually FUNNY and not going on about themselves and their projects. Jack Black with Tenacious D. Diddy with....himself. I also think they need to get rid of the "throwback" hip hop/screaming performances because Busta Rhymes screaming over a 10 year old song sucked, IMO. However, all of the rock performances never really sound good (Panic! and Fall Out Boy last year) so...they need to be poppier! haha. Did anyone even show up? I didn't really watch them that much but I didn't see Paris, Mariah, Kelly or Madonna. I don't know if they were going to show up, but it was just some rappers and some rockers. Mad boring IMO. With the terrible three year spree they've been on, I'm going to declare that I will not watch them next year unless someone I like is performing.

Personally I liked the show. It wasn't the greatest by any means but it was still good overall.

My girl Christina was the best performance of the night. Beyonce totally blew up the stage. Justin brought sexy back (and no Al Gore that was just ew). Shakira was good too but not as good as I would have hoped. Ok Go was very cool even though I don't really know anything about them.

Most of the people who won sucked though. The only exceptions were the Pussycat Dolls and Beyonce. Jessica simpson was so cute. I really hope her voice gets better soon.

Now I love J Lo, She's my girl and all but she would have looked better in a potato sack tonight then the abombination she wore. I love you girl but seriously go home and burn the outfit.

I also watched the whole thing on overdirve which was very cool. If you didn't see watch that then shame on you. It was totally worth it.

EDIT: Oh yeah and they did boo Britney! That was so great. How awful was that skit with that thing she calls a husband?

The show sucked, sucked a little bit less than last years (which were horrible!!) but it still wasnt what it used to be.

Justin's first song made me think a lot about Usher's "Yeah". Specially with all the blue lights, and the dance sounds in the kinda hip-hop song.

Shakira was good, someone said something about her voice, that's true but i think it was better the way she did it because... let's face it, those moves are the thing people wanted to watch.

The presenters were AWFUL!!!, really bad presenters.

Christina's performance was boring, but her dress was pretty. Beyoncé's performance was fabulous, and Shakira was boring.

Britney was funny, I loved the "Shit!" and the "up your ass" comment to Kevin. Good they can make fun of themselves.

I loveeeed Justin's performance. "My Love" is my shit and "SexyBack" is hot too! So is Justin.
