Justin Timberlake's next album will be influenced by southern American rock.

The pop hunk's first solo LP, Justified, won rave reviews and topped the charts around the world.

But the singer, who recently hinted his boyband 'N SYNC won't be reuniting for another album, is ready to diversify for his second solo effort.

When asked about his new sound, Timberlake says, "Maybe a little Southern rock, you know? Try that on for size."
