Now its Fergie aka BEP fame.

Quote:
Fergs used to let others believe she had a problem with bulimia and that’s why she was so darn skinny, like ninety pounds. That’s before she had twenty pounds of breast implants. She came clean to her Wild Orchid bandmates after lying to them. She says, “I put up a whole front - I even took them to Overeaters Anonymous with me. I've never been bulimic in my life, but when you're a drug addict, you lie.I don't want to be the poster girl for crystal meth, but it's very addicting, and people don't know just how addicting it is!".

I don't have a problem with Fergie talking about taking drugs, as it's in the past and she's not showing off about it.

Quote:
It's not like he's the only one in Hollywood who does that... he's just one of the few pop stars admitting to it.
He can do all drugs all he wants - it's the way he's using it to promote his album which is annoying me. There are too many in the artists in the UK doing this already and it's getting really annoying. Can't they just let the music speak for themselves?

The only person I don't have a problem with is Pete Doherty. I know he's totally ruining his life with it - but he's actually an addict, unlike Justin Timberlake/Paulo Nutini/Lily Allen who almost seem to be bragging abour thier drug use. I remember the days when the guys from S Club were caught (with cocaine was it?) and the scandal that caused. Back then it was a huge thing and actually kinda shocking. Now with Pete Doherty being in the papers regularly for his drug use (seriously, how has he not been arrested and given a proper sentence yet?) and Kate Moss' career seeing a big boost after her use, it's not shocking anymore, in fact seems as if it's considered "ok" to do drugs.

I don't see the difference with Fergie I gues. True, she's not doing the drugs NOW, but she's still talking about it at a time close to when her album comes out...publicity? Yes. So what's the difference between the two?

Well, I think because Fergie supposedly admitted it to her former bandmates. Justin just brought it up as if it was a normal conversation. That's the only difference I really see, but I do see your point, Allie.

Quick Tongue

I think this whole article was taken completely out of context. I don't think he just came out and said "Oh, I've done lots of drugs in my past!" The article doesn't say what prompted him to say this, or what the interviewer asked him.

If, in the instance, he did just volunteer this information, it makes him sound like a dumbass. But oooohh well.

I was also wondering that. If the interviewer asked him...if he just offered up the info. Does anyone know? And if he was asked and he told the truth, good for him. However, he probably would have been slammed for avoiding the question as well. So he can't win.

Why would someone ask him about something that he says no-one knows about?

"I've never been arrested... though that's not to say I won't." Anyone in their right minds wouldn't say that publicly, if it wasn't that "doin time" is considered "kewl" in gangsta world. What kind of album is he releasing? Snoop Dogg style? "Kyle's mom is a bitch, mothafucka". If that came from a babyfaced kid, we'd all be rolling on the floor laughing. But if it comes from a gangsta who's been arrested for "doin dope", it's "HOT".

Is he still with Jive? I hope not, cause they suck at doing images.
