Jennifer Lopez has offered her support to troubled singer Britney Spears, blaming the singer's 'meltdown' on her celebrity lifestyle.

Lopez shies away from Hollywood's party scene and nightclub culture, but can understand how young stars are attracted to it, and then suffer the consequences.

She says, "I feel so sorry for her. The lifestyle just gets to you after a while."

I think her "pity" is genuine. How many people have to go down the destructive road to ruin, and why can't someone who's a little more stable reach out to help them?

i dont think j.lo is much more stable than brit to be honest cause she is hoppin in and out of marriages like mad. maybe this time she'll stay with whats his name.....????????
